摘要 汉语歇后语是人民群众在生活实践中创造的一种特殊语言形式。它 以明白晓畅的结构，形象生动的语言和幽默的效果而耐人寻味，有着鲜 明的民族特色和浓郁的生活气息。歇后语在人民群众的口头上广泛流 传，一直被视为是中华民族语言，思想和传统的集中反映。歇后语是中 国文化不可或缺的部分，在几千年的发展过程中，已经形成了一套完整 的体系。但是，对歇后语的研究还局限于词汇研究或静态研究，一般是 探究歇后语的语言结构和句法功能，从语用学角度的研究是凤毛麟角。 为了丰富语言学的研究，本文从语用学角度，以v e r s c h u e r e n 的语用顺应 论为理论框架，辅以m a s l o w 的人类动机理论和裘克安的文化划分理论， 对歇后语做出了较为全面的综观分析，旨在清楚地认识歇后语和语境的 关系，挖掘歇后语所蕴含的文化内涵，为歇后语的进一步研究提供一个 全新的视角。 本文是基于语料的定性分析。首先，分析了歇后语和其它汉语熟语 的异同，阐述了歇后语特有的性质，给歇后语进行了新的定义。然后， 由于歇后语强烈的口语化性质，在日常交际中也频繁地被人们使用来传 情达意，它的语用功能也是本文研究的重点，主要从四个方面阐述了歇 后语在汉语交际中通过其语用功能的发挥，大大促进了交际的有效顺利 进行。最后，综合考虑语言、社会、文化、心理等因素对歇后语语言选 择的影响，得出歇后语输顺应交际者的社会规约和心理动机的结果。对 社会规约的顺应，主要是对社会文化的顺应。交际者处于社会环境和社 会文化之中，当然他们的言语无不受到社会文化的影响。具体而言，歇 i l 后语的语言选择是顺应了中国物质文化和制度文化的结果。对于心理动 机的顺是歇后语产生的另一个深刻原因。具体而言，根据美国心理学专 家m a s l o w 的人类动机理论，歇后语的语言选择还顺应了交际者生理需 要、安全需要、归属和爱的需要、尊重需要以及自我实现需要的心理动 机的结果。 关键词：歇后语，语用功能，语用顺应论，人类动机理论，文化划分理 论，社交世界，心理世界 i i i a b s t r a c t c h i n e s ex i e h o u y u ( f o r 歇后语，h e r e i na f t e ra b b r e v i a t e dt ox h y ) ，a sa p a r t i c u l a rl a n g u a g ef o r m ，a r ec r e a t e db yl a b o r i n gp e o p l ed u r i n ge x p e r i e n c e o fl i f e t h e i rd i s t i n c tc o n s t r u c t i o n ，v i v i dl a n g u a g ea n dj o c u l a re f f e c ta f f o r d m u c hf o o df o rt h o u g h ta n dr e f l e c tc l e a r -
