论文摘要 毫无疑问，词汇在语篇中的作用是绝对不可以低估的。m i c h a e l l e w i s ( 1 9 9 3 ) 曾经浇过：“语言不足词汇化的语法而是语法化的词汇。 到目前为止对词汇的语篇功能的研究是广泛的。然而迄今为止还没有 人通过m i c h a e ll o e y 和n a t t i n g e r 的词汇理论来对雅思议论文进行过 研究。 雅思是圉际英语语言测试系统的缩写形式。它现已成为测试想到 英国，澳大利亚，新西兰，加拿大以及欧洲的学府求学深造的人的最 广泛的形式。现令很多中国人都梦想着出国深造，这使参加雅思考试 的人数迅速增长。然而出国的路并不是平坦的。这主要是由于很多参 考人员在雅思考试中所取得的成绩并不理想，尤其是在写作方面。因 此对雅思写作进行系统的研究是很必要的。本文的目的在于通过运用 h o e y 和n a t t in g e f 的词汇理论对雅思议论文进行系统的研究。 本文包括三部分。第一部分是引文。它首先简介了当今流行的一 些词汇理论继而揭示了本文研究的必要性。第二部分是本文的主体部 分。它包括2 ，3 ，4 ，5 章。第二章详细的说明了雅思议论文的特点以 及评分准则，同时指出了议论文写作中获取高分关键在于词汇而不是 语法。第三章对当今主要流行的词汇理论尤其是h o e y 和n a t t i n g e r 的 词汇理论进行了详尽的阐述。第四章通过对学生作文中的错误进行分 析用以找出学生在以论文写作中存在的词汇问题从而进一步证明运用 词汇理论的必要性。第五章主要是对h o e y 和n a t t i n g e r 的词汇理论加 以论证以及应用他们的理论来解决以论文写作中的具体问题并明确提 出本文所倡导的词汇教学方法。最后一部分是结论以及对雅思议论文
