中文摘要 中文摘要 近年来对新闻报道的研究一直是语篇分析的热门话题，由于其独特的特征和 语言现象，新闻语篇作为一种特殊的文体值得研究。同时，系统功能语法为语篇 分析提供了一种行之有效的方法。本文将利用系统功能语法对英语报纸中的客观 新闻语篇进行分析。作者从纽约时报的官方网站下载语料并建立语料库，从 中选出1 2 篇新闻作为样本进行手动分析。围绕三大语言元功能( 概念功能，人际 功能和语篇功能) ，对体现其词汇语法层面的及物性和语态，语气和情态，主位 结构和主位推进模式，以及字系结构系统进行了详细分析，进而解释情景语境的 三个变量( 语域，语旨和语式) 如何在语义层面决定功能的选择。本文对所选语 料进行定量和定性分析。本研究具有理论和实践的双重意义，一方面它证明系统 功能语法完全可以作为语篇分析的理论框架，丰富了其在新闻英语领域的研究。 另一方面它对英语的教与学也有重大意义。 关键词：英语客观新闻：三大元功能：系统功能语法 英文摘要 a s y s t e m i c -
