（英语语言文学专业论文）汉英翻译中的中国英语.pdf

摘要 从文化翻译的角度看，语言可译与不可译的矛盾一直比较突出，具有中国特色的词汇 和表达由于在西方文化中找不到对等而成为汉英翻译中的一大难题。本文重点研究中国文 化特色词汇或中国特有表达方式的英译的可能性。作者在文中指出了文化冲击下中国英语 存在的意义；继而对中国英语的词汇和表达进行了分类；对比了翻译策略中的两大对立一 奈达的归化说( d o m e s t i c a t i o n ) 和韦努蒂的异化说( f o r e i g n i z a t i o n ) ；通过对大量例子的分 析，提出了一些针对中国特有词汇及表达的翻译方法；本文最后讨论了中国英语作为一种 英语变体的意义所在。 通过对归化说( d o m e s t i c a t i o a ) 莉l 异化说( f o r e i g n i z a t i o n ) 的对比，作者认为异化是文化翻 译的基本策略，中国英语这一特殊英语变体的存在已是一种必然。从政治的角度看，中国 英语能在一定程度上消除由于政治和经济因素引起的文化不平等现象，有效保留中文源语 文本中的特色；从文化层面看，中国英语有利于中国的社会意识形念被西方的社会意识形 态所接纳，促进中国被世界更好地了解。诚然，并非所有中国英语中的表达方式都可演化 和发展为标准英语，但中国英语仍然在一定程度上丰富了英语的表达方式，它对英语这一
