摘要 翻泽学是一门年轻的学科，需要吸收和借攀其它相关学科的研究成果及其 理论以发展和构建自己学科的研究方法。现代翻译研究的一大特点，就是把翻 译问题纳入语言学的研究领域。翻泽研究者们在现代语言学的结构理论、转换 生成理论、功能理论、社会语言学、符号学研究、哲学、心理学等影响_ 卜r ，分 别从不同的角度，试图对翻译这个古老的话题赋予新的含义，增添新的内容， 从而提出新的研究方法、理论模式和翻译技巧 语义结构( s e m a n z i cs t r u c t u r e ) 是意义研究的一个新视角，指语言单 位通过具体的运用而抽象出来的意义，产牛于人们的语法结构知识与非语言的 百科知识相合成的过程中，并由于语言符号而得以固定，是语义，语法，和语 用的结合，三者不可分割。语义结构的提出，可能为翻译研究提供新的模式， 因为当代翻译学不再限定于研究语言本身，而是将视野扩大到交际、语境、文 化和语言的功能。 、 + 。全文共分为五章。 第一章是对翻译及几种翻译理论的回顾，并阐明了本文的基本立场。 第二章主要介绍了语义结构的基本含义，包括语义能力，语义表现，及语义 结构的生成与应用。 第三章探讨了词级语义结构，从语义场，搭配和俗语二个方面对英汉两种语 言的语义结构进行了对比分析，指出二者的异同及翻译中会遇到的口 题，从而 提出英汉两种语言在此层次上的转换的具体方法。 ， 第四章探讨的是句级语义结构，全章共分四个部分。第一部分讨论如何确定 i 句中单个语言单位的义值；第二部分是对英汉两种语言的句子结构的对比，指 出二者主要异同及其对整个句子意义的影响；第三部分是语法结构的暗含意 ， 义；第四部分是对英汉两种语义结构进行转换的策喇” 第赢章是对语篇语义结构的确定语篇是具有完整意义的超语言单位，因此 是翻译过程中最理想的语言单位，翻译应从语篇出发。语义的完整性、语义的 相融性、语篇的衔接与连贯、语用等语篇因素分别从不同的角度影响并决定了 语篇的语义结构，因此，正确理解这些语篇特性，是生成篇章语义结构的关键。j 翻译活动作为语言应用的一种特殊形式，主要是对两种语言的意义进行正 确的传递，实现其交际价值。翻译者首先要研究语言，掌握语言的基本结构， 明白语言如何在其各个层次上运作，了解它的功能与本质，这样才能对语言的
