摘要 自1 9 6 5 年查德发表“模糊集一文，首次提出“模糊”概念以来，模糊理 论被广泛应用于多种学科。它被用来合理解释许多难以解决的语言问题，进而拓 展了语言研究的深度和广度。模糊语言学的发展使我们认识到模糊性与精确性一 样都是语言的自然属性，模糊性是客观存在的。在研究语言时，应该辩证地看待 语言的这两个属性，既承认语言的精确性又不能否认其模糊性。 随着模糊语言学的发展，模糊语言在交际中的表达功能和审美效果得到越来 越多的重视。伍铁平老师在此基础上提出“修辞具有模糊性 之后，模糊修辞理 论得到长足的发展。 模糊修辞就是有效地利用语言的模糊性来提高表达效果的一种手段，它广泛 存在于日常生活和文学作品特别是诗歌中，因为诗歌语言含蓄、隽永、高度凝练。 汉诗中经常使用言简意丰的模糊修辞来传达含蓄、模糊等美感信息。近年来，模 糊修辞作为传达美感的一种重要手段业已得到了人们的重视。在汉诗英译中如何 再现诗歌的美感信息这一主题以求使我们的研究越发集中在模糊修辞的再现方 面。 本文旨在以模糊修辞理论为指导，通过对汉诗中诸多模糊修辞现象进行类 比研究，进一步验证和洞析修辞对诗歌美感的烘托和构织，通过对所选诗歌的多 种译文进行比较研究，尝试找到翻译模糊修辞的可行性方法，以推动翻译实践向 更深更广的领域发展。
