华北电力大学硕士学位论文 摘要 人口老龄化是世界人口发展的趋势。中美两国都面临着老龄人口增 加和如何赡养老年人的问题，并在发展的过程中，呈现出各自的特点， 给经济发展和社会稳定带来了挑战。老年人养老问题日益成为中美两国 关注的社会问题。 本文以美国社会学家乔治瑞泽尔提出的社会问题分析框架和美国 心理学家亚伯拉罕马斯洛提出的需求层次学说为主要理论依据，对中美 两国城镇老年人养老模式进行了对比研究，力求寻找一种适合中国文化 道德传统及当前现实国情的养老模式。论文首先回顾人口老龄化，养老 模式的相关概念以及国内外学者对于养老问题的研究。然后运用社会问 题分析框架，从个人因素层面、社会心理层面和社会学层面对中美城镇 老年人养老模式进行对比研究。在此基础上，总结家庭养老和社会养老 各自的优缺点，并依据马斯洛需求层次理论，提出发展居家养老模式，
