显得格外必要。本文即以关联理论为基础分析了英文影片阿甘正传的字幕汉 译。关联理论旨在强调交际活动中意图的传达与理解及其推理，因此译文应将原 文的意图应该尽可能地被传达给交际对象，并且使交际对象处理和理解信息的努 力应该尽可能地最小。字幕翻译过程中，译者首先与原作者达成心理和认知上的 共识，把握原文的意图和相关信息：接着，译者必须考虑到译入语观众的认知能力 和期待，基于对两种语言使用情况的熟练掌握，以及对语言文化特殊性的深入理解， 根据字幕翻译的特点，采取恰当的翻译策略，灵活传达信息，以取得翻译字幕的最 佳关联性和实现充分的语境效果。最后译入语观众通过字幕，用最小的努力来充分 理解和欣赏电影。 本文试图以s p e r b e r 和w ii s o n 的关联理论以及g u t t 的语用翻译理论为指导， 指明、论证并例举说明英文电影阿甘j 下传字幕翻译所采取的减译，明示以及 归化的翻译策略，以求为电影字幕翻译实践提供理论和方法上的参考。 本文首先回顾了关联理论，关联翻译理论，字幕翻译的相关理论，然后以关 联理论为指导分析了电影阿甘正传中的翻译处理。电影阿甘正传中文字 幕转录自网络字幕翻译组，按分类选取了数个译例分析减译，明示和归化在翻译 中的体现。译者使用这三种翻译策略，以关联理论为指导，使影片汉译字幕构建
