元语否定的认知分析学科专业：英语语言文学指导教师：刘家荣教授研究方向：语言学及现代英语研究生：张楠( $ 2 0 0 4 0 6 3 7 )内容摘要多种语言中都存在着元语否定这种特殊的否定现象。从根本上讲，以l j 的对于元语否定的研究多未能跳出语义学的范畴，这些研究只关注这种否定形式本身，而忽略了交际者的因素，因此未能真正回答有关元语否定的本质及其推理等问题。运用认知语言学的“理想认知模型”理论和框架语义学中的“框架”，本文探讨了这种否定现象的特征，本质及其推理解读过程。从认知的角度看，意义只存在于交际中。因此，对于元语否定的研究必须考虑说话者和听话者以及交际的语境等因素。本文认为元语否定本质上是对于听话者“优先的理想认知模型”的否定。“优先的理想认知模型”是指处于特定情境中的交际者为了当前的交际或理解需要，有意或不自觉的首选为背景知识的理想认知模型。否定发生在两个理想认知模型之白j ，丽大部分的否定则发生于一个理想认知模型之内：这是元语否定区别于其他否定的根本特征。认知语言学认为，语言的意义主要依赖于认知框架，语言表达式是激活认知框架的触发器或是认知框架的支撑点。因此对元语否定的推理解读就是需要找到能够激活与说话人意图相符的认知框架的语言表达式。因此本文运用框架理论，解释了框架的概念，类别，特点；对不同类型的元语否定现象的解读过程进行了阐释。关键词：元语否定理想认知模式框架m
