摘要 一般而言，同一置信水平下显然可以得到无穷多个参数的置信区间a 然 而问题是我们要从众多的筐信区间中选择哪一个? 在本研究中，我们对置信 区间的长度做了系统的比较研究，主要对等尾厦信区问( 即按概率对称取得 的置信区间) 和最短鼹信区间的长度进行了比较分析。对正态分布的均值的 置信区间的研究结果显示，计算出的最短置信区间与等尾瑟信区间完全一致 。然而我们对正态分布方差的研究结果就有所不同，结果显示：当样本容量 小于3 0 时，按概率对称得到的厦信区间长度明显大于最短厦信区间的长度： 当样本容量超过3 0 时，两种暹信区间长度的绝对误差逐渐收敛至0 ，显然两 个置信区间已经没有显著差异。另外，我们利用联r l ，r 2 ) 分布得到两个相互独 立的正态分布方差比的鼹信区间，研究结果显示：当r l 固定随着r 2 的增加， 或者当r 2
