哈尔滨t 稃大学硕十学位论文 摘要 隐喻研究一直是语言学界关注的焦点。传统隐喻观仅仅把隐喻当成一种 语言现象，当代隐喻观则把隐喻看作一种思维和推理的方式。认知语言学界 普遍认为，在所有隐喻中，空间隐喻对人类的概念形成具有特殊重要的意义， 因为多数抽象概念都是通过空间隐喻来表达和理解的。 本文的主要研究对象是汉英两种语言的基本空间方位词上下及 u p d o w n 。本文对这两对方位词的意义演变和表达形式方面以及由此两对 方位词投射到数量、状态、时间、社会等级等方面的隐喻化认知方式进行了 系统的对比研究。目的在于探索两个民族的认知方式之异同。结果表明。基 于人类共同经验基础的相同点居多，而由于不同的文化背景而产生的不同点 甚少。 关键词：方位词：隐喻；对比 哈尔滨r ：稃人学硕+ 学位论文 a b s t r a c t m e t a p h o rh a
