摘要 修辞手法的翻译是翻译研究的重要课题。修辞格被广泛应用于各类文学作品 中。修辞格的使用可以使形象鲜明，语言生动，并能激发读者的联想，增强作品 的表现力。因此，对修辞手法翻译处理得当是十分重要的。译文如果不能正确表 现原文的修辞法，就不能准确地表达原文的思想、精神和风格。即使传达了原文 的大意，也会削弱其语言力量。 近年来，哈利波特系歹l j d , 说十分流行。它吸引了各个年龄层的读者，他 们对作者描绘的魔幻世界深深着迷。哈利波特的成功吸引了一批学者进行一 系列的研究，不过这些研究大多从神话、社会、宗教或者营销策略等角度着手， 很少有人注意到文中所使用的修辞手法。实际上，该书作者在创作过程中使用了 许多修辞格，比如明喻、暗喻、拟人、夸张、移就等。虽然这些修辞格都很常见， 但是它们对哈利，波特的成功起到的作用不容小视。如果没有这些丰富的修 辞手法，小说就会显得平淡且乏味，失去现在的魅力，也不会如此畅销。 哈利波特的中文版小说在图书市场上同样大获成功，这和成功的翻译 是不无关系的。尤金- 奈达提出了对等翻译，该理论的核心就是翻译对目标读者 产生的效果要与原文对原文读者产生的效果相同或者尽可能的相近。本论文从对 等翻译的角度出发，比较了哈利波特的两个中译本，最终得出哪一个更符
