n l 摘要 连贯是英语写作的重要方面。但就目前的彬f 究米看，人多数的语言学家及教师都将写 作中连贯研究的重点放在衔接机制上，譬如语法和词汇衔接，而忽视了从语篇元功能及主位 推进模式米研究。本论文以功能语法中的主伉推进模式理论为基础，从调查目前中国人学学 生英语议论文写作的教学现状入手，试图将主位推进理论应用丁议论文的连贯教学，通过分 析发现学生议论文中的主位推进模式的共同特点，主位推进模式在英语议论文写作的可行性 及其对大学英语写作教学的现实意义。 实验主体是3 9 名广东女子职业技术学院的英语专业学生。在实验的前中后期都会收集 相关数据和问卷。本论文关注学生议论文中的主位推进模式，试图找出不连贯的问题所在， 及应用主位推进模式的教学来增强学生写作的连贯意识。以下是本论文的发现：( 1 ) 目前的 写作连贯教学主要集中在语法机制及词汇衔接上，对语篇迩贯不够重视也少有涉及，学生及 老师都非常缺乏主位推进知识。( 2 ) 通过主位推进模式的教学，学生议论文写作中的连贯性 进步明显，问题减少。( 3 ) 实验前学生议论文中常用的主位推进模式为平行型，而实验后 议论文中常用的派生型。( 4 ) 学生有限的英语水平及教学实验的时间不足使学生还不能在议 论文写作中自如地运用主位推进模式。实验结果表明主位推进模式有益丁学生的议论文写 作，也给英语议论文教学带来启发，( 1 ) 在英语专业学生的写作教学中加入主位推进模式， 有助丁提高她们写作的连贯性；( 2 ) 写作教学过程中，教师应更注重篇章的连贯性，尝试设 计更多的练习米加强学生通过主位推进模式达剑连贯的意识。总体而言，本研究不仅为英语
