furthermore, the grandparent-grandchild connection plays a primary role in spanning elations in the family, which make most of this research focus on grand parenting. several researches have showed that the elderly played an important part in bringing up grandchildren. furthermore, grandparents could replace parents function and promote grandchildrens development. from the aspect of the ecology of human development and the theory of family system, children are living in a series of systems which interact with each other. and these theories provide a theoretical perspective for us to explore the impact of grand parenting on children. family is the important place for childrens socialization, which member could impact childrens development more or less. so grandparents who are the significant others in childrens development would certainly play an key role in childrens development. the dominant themes of grand parenting research are grandparents acting as parents in the prevalence of single-parent families; they often focus on the differences among races. in our country, most researches focus on the relationship between grand parenting and childrens psychological development, which are also descriptive. however, given the universal phenomenon that grandparents have been playing important role in helping rear grandchildren in chinese families, systematic study of grand parenting has been rare in chinese psychology. most of research in this area focus on the relationship between grand parenting and childrens externalizing behaviors; nevertheless, they pay no attention to internalizing behaviors, such as emotional adjustment. among several childrens adjustment, emotional adjustment is one of the most important indexes to evaluate childrens school adjustment and mental health. emotional adjustment is one of the childrens socialization. children who well adjust in emotion could deal with school and family environment successfully, which not only benefit to childrens current development, but also to latter development. therefore; we explore the characteristic of grand parenting and the relationship between grand parenting and childrens emotional adjustment. 山东师范硕士学位论文 iv so, at first step in the present thesis, comprehensive literatures reviews were made with regard to grand parenting, then 1026 children grade three, 596 grandfathers and 430 grandmothers take part in this study. on the base of data, we examine the characteristic of grand parenting and the relationship between grand parenting and childrens emotional adjustment. the main findings are as follows: (1)among the two domains of grand parenting which are nurturance and psychological pressure, the most frequent grand parenting grandparents used was nurturance. they often showed their warm, concern and love, and they less showed their control and requirement. (2)grand parenting styles were different on the basis of grandparents gender, age and their kinship. more grandmothers are inductive and indulgent styles, whereas grandfathers are the indifferent and dictatorial styles. furthermore, more grandparents above 70 years old are the indifferent style; more matrilineal grandparents are the indulgent and indifferent styles, more patrilineal grandparents are the dictatorial styles. (3)the nurturance of grand parenting could negatively predict childrens loneliness, that is, the more grandparents care for children, and the level of childrens loneliness is lower. the psychological pressure of grand parenting could positively predict childrens loneliness and depression. namely, the more grandparents show their psychological pressure, children are more lonely and depressive. key words: grandparenting, children, emotional adjustment category number: b844 山东师范大学硕士学位论文 1 第一部分第一部分 文献综述与问题提出文献综述与问题提出 1 理论背景理论背景 家庭是儿童生活的主要场所，它对儿童的心理和行为的发展起着至关重要的作用。近几 十年来，核心家庭已经取代大家庭成为家庭结构的主要模式，这也使得亲子关系成为备受学 术界关注的研究课题。但是，目前的一些研究表明（沈锄云，2000） ，老年人依然占据着抚养 孙子女的重要位置。特别是祖父母代替父母的养育职能，使祖父母在孙子女的发展过程中起 到了重要作用。此外，由于人口构成的变化，例如随着老龄化家庭的出现，人类寿命的延长 使得祖父母的角色比以前变得更加多样化以及目前高离婚率和吸毒等社会问题的普遍化等现 象，越来越多的祖父母参与到抚养孙子女的过程中。在我国，历来就有祖父母参与教养的传 统，再加之我国独生子女政策的实施，社会竞争激烈导致父母没有足够的时间照顾子女等因 素，使得我国祖父母更加关注孙子女的教养，祖父母教养孙子女的情况也更为普遍。这也就 进一步促使了祖父母教养成为近年来凸现的一种社会现象，引起了心理学、教育学以及社会 学等领域的广泛关注。 目前，国内已有的关于祖父母教养与儿童心理发展的关系的研究更多的是描述性的，实 证研究相对匮乏，同时这方面的研究更多的是关注祖父母教养与儿童的外化问题行为之间的 关系，而没有探讨祖父母教养与儿童的内化问题的关系，比如儿童的情绪适应问题。小学三 年级的儿童正处于童年中期，这一时期儿童的情绪适应对其心理健康发展以及学校适应都会 产生重要影响。因此，本文拟考察祖父母教养的基本特点及其与儿童情绪适应之间的关系。 1.1 家庭系统论家庭系统论 家庭系统论为考察祖父母教养对儿童的影响提供了理论视角。家庭系统论认为，家庭作 为一个系统，是由父亲、母亲及其所有的子女组成的一个整体系统，同时又包含夫妻、亲子、 兄弟姐妹及祖父母等子系统。这些子系统各具其独特性，又相互联系、相互影响。家庭系统 理论把家庭看作是一个有组织能运作的系统，并强调家庭作为一个整体，任何一方均会牵一 发而动全身。家庭系统具有以下特征： （1）整合性，强调整体大于部分的总和； （2）层次性， 家庭是由多个相互依赖的子系统组成的，如夫妻、亲子、兄弟姐妹、祖孙等子系统，每个子 系统都有其独特的功能； （3）相互依存性，系统内各部分相互依存，相互影响。如父母和祖 父母的关系会影响到祖孙之间的接触频率和亲密度，祖孙关系又会影响亲子关系（张文新， 山东师范大学硕士学位论文 2 1999） 。 家庭系统论提供了一个心理社会的范例，强调了超越母子关系的重要性，来更好地理 解儿童的发展以及家庭适应变化和应对挑战的能力(cox denham fuller-thomson grant solomon fuller-thomson fuller-thomson poehlmann，2003） 。那些承担起父母角 色的祖父母会对孙子女的情感适应性以及教育机能的发展产生积极的影响作用（edwards chan uhlenberg fuller-thomson fuller-thomson 山东师范大学硕士学位论文 21 achenbach, 1991)，与正常群体相比，孙子女存在更严重的情绪和行为问题。 在本研究中，我们发现，祖父母教养中的养育因子可以显著负向预测儿童的孤独感，即 祖父母对儿童养育关心和爱护越多，儿童的孤独感水平越低，越不感到孤独；祖父母教养中 的心理压力因子可以显著正向预测儿童的孤独和抑郁， 即祖父母对儿童施加的心理压力越多， 儿童的孤独和抑郁水平越高。这在一定程度上与以往的研究结果一致，即父母教养的不同方 面会对儿童的情绪适应带来不同的影响，祖父母对儿童的教养越积极，那么儿童出现情绪适 应问题的几率就越小，若祖父母对儿童的管束和要求越多，那么儿童感知到的心理压力就越 强，那么儿童就会相应出现一系列的情绪适应问题。这一方面验证了我们的之前的理论假设， 也再一次让我们认识到祖父母教养会对儿童的情绪适应带来影响；另一方面本研究也在一定 程度上为上述争论提供了证据，即祖父母教养与儿童情绪适应的关系会因祖父母教养的不同 方面而存在不同，这也为日后的研究和实践提供了理论和实证研究的支持。 国外对祖父母教养对儿童情绪适应的关系研究，更多关注孤独感和抑郁两个维度，而国 内虽然有关儿童焦虑、孤独感和抑郁方面都有大量的研究，但却没有祖父母与儿童情绪适应 的关系研究。而本研究的假设是祖父母教养可以显著预测儿童的社交焦虑，可研究结果却没 有验证我们的研究假设，即祖父母教养对孙子女的社交焦虑没有产生影响。 山东师范大学硕士学位论文 22 第五部分第五部分 结论结论 1在祖父母教养的两个方面：养育和心理压力中，祖父母对儿童更多的是温暖、关心和 爱护，而对儿童的管束和要求较少。 2祖父母教养类型因祖父母的性别、年龄及其与儿童血缘关系的不同而不同。与祖父相 比，祖母更多的是对儿童采取指导型和溺爱型的教养方式；与祖母相比，祖父更多的是对儿 童采取忽视型和专制型的教养方式；此外，70 岁以上的祖父母更多的是采用忽视型的教养方 式；母系祖父母更多的是对儿童采取溺爱型和忽视型教养方式，父系祖父母更多的是采用专 制型的教养方式。 3祖父母教养中的养育因子可以显著负向预测儿童的孤独感，即祖父母对儿童养育关心 和爱护越多，儿童的孤独感水平越低，越不感到孤独；祖父母教养中的心理压力因子可以显 著正向预测儿童的孤独和抑郁，即祖父母对儿童施加的心理压力越多，儿童的孤独和抑郁水 平越高。 山东师范大学硕士学位论文 23 第六部分第六部分 教育建议教育建议 1客观地看待当前我国的祖父母教养 长期以来，人们对（外）祖父母参与孙子女教养一直持不支持态度，认为祖父母对孙子 女更多的是溺爱、过度关注和过度干涉。但本研究显示，祖父母教养孙子女存在教养方式上 的差异，对孙子女的教养既有有利的一面，又有不利的一面，不能简单地反对或者支持祖父 母教养孙子女。 2加强对祖父母教养实践的指导 在家庭中，祖父母除重视对孙子女的管教外，还应该多与孙子女沟通，了解孙子女的情 绪变化，及时帮助孙子女有效地宣泄不良情绪。 作为父母，要密切与祖父母的关系，尽管本研究未考察父母与祖父母的关系对孙子女的 情绪影响，但作为家庭系统成员，父母与祖父母关系的越和谐将越有利于儿童积极情绪的产 生。 学校方面，教育者应积极拓宽教育渠道，一方面可以通过开设相关课程、团体辅导或者 组织互动活动，对儿童进行亲情教育，让儿童学会关心、热爱祖父母，积极主动地发展和谐 的祖孙关系；另一方面，学校也可以为有能力也乐于参与孙子女教养的（外）祖父母定期举 办家庭教育讲座或者家庭教育座谈，帮助（外）祖父母及时更新教育观念，掌握科学的教育 方法，从而给孙子女提供更有效的教育引导，以保证孙子女身心健康成长。 社会方面，老干部局、老龄委、社区等部门可以为祖父母定期举办老年人健康教育讲座、 老年人茶话会、家庭亲子互动等活动，通过这些活动，有效地加强祖辈、父母及孙子女的沟 通，及时消除家庭中的不良因素。对于确实没有能力或者教育分歧较大的祖父母，父母应承 担起子女的教育责任，尽可能避免隔代教养产生的不利影响。 山东师范大学硕士学位论文 24 第七部分第七部分 研究的不足研究的不足 本研究对我国祖父母教养与孙子女情绪适应之间的关系进行了较为细致的探讨，尽管得 出了一些有益的研究结果，但仍存在一些不足之处： 第一，祖父母教养可能影响孙子女发展的多个方面，但本研究仅仅关注了祖父母教养方 式对孙子女情绪适应的关系，研究的面比较狭窄。 第二，祖父母教养与儿童情绪适应之间的关系可能受父母教养的调节，但本研究没有把 父母教养纳入研究的范围，因此不能更为深入地揭示祖父母教养、父母教养与儿童情绪适应 的关系。 第三，本研究发现，祖父母教养不能够显著预测孙子女的社交焦虑，这一研究结果尚有 待未来的研究加以验证。 山东师范大学硕士学位论文 25 参考文献参考文献 1achenbach, t.m.
