硕士学位论文 摘要 本文运用语法化理论探讨了汉语或然性认识情态动词的语法化问题。本文首 先从历时的角度探讨了汉语或然性认识情态动词的语法化过程，提出现代汉语中 所有的或然性认识情态动词都遵循同样的语法化路径，即实词 弱义务性情态动词 或然性情态动词，并通过寻找合适的句法环境和相宜的语义条件来探讨所涉及的 每个情态动词语法化过程中的演变机制。为了更全面地反映历时变化，本文将没 有语法化为或然性认识情态动词的弱义务性情态动词和其或然性认识情态意义在 现代汉语中已经消亡的情态动词纳入讨论体系，并就其为什么没有完成整个语法 化过程或其或然性认识情态意义的消亡作出合理的解释。其次，本文考察了如何 在共时层面上判定一个成分语法化程度的高低。本文检验了莱曼所提出的可用于 在共时层面判定语法化程度高低的六条参数，并证明大部分参数并不适合包括本 文所探讨的具有弱义务情态意义和或然性情态意义的情态动词在内的情况。本文 发现汉语中某些常见构式可以用于在共时层面判定一个成分语法化程度的高低。 通过将其运用到具有弱义务情态意义和或然性情态意义的情态动词和汉语中其它 一些案例中，这些构式被证明在一定范围内能够判定语法化程度的高低，并为在汉 语中建立范围更广泛和更有解释力的原则提供了一种可能的思路。最后，本文为
