摘要 词汇是语言体系中不可缺少的组成部分对于把英语作为外语的学习者来 说，词汇知识至关重要正如英国著名语言学家w i l k i n s ( 1 9 7 2 ) 所说：“没有 语法很多东西无法传递，没有词汇任何东西无法传递”词汇教学经历了翻译一 语法教学法，听说法和交际教学法等演变，最终得到了教师和研究者的重视。在 词汇习得过程中，词义习得一直是学习者面临的一大难题。h a l l i d a y ( 1 9 6 4 ) 指 出：。选词错误以及词义混淆是非母语学习者最常犯的错误之一”。 鉴于此，本研究以语义学相关理论为基础，运用错误分析方法对8 0 名北京 第二外国语学院继续教育学院非英语专业二年级学生的作文中出现的词义错误 进行了定量和定性分析分析表明学生作文中出现了8 7 处词义错误。这些错误 可以分为两大类：第一类是语义冲突引起的错误( 8 0 4 6 ) 这类错误可以分为两 种：违反共现理论引起的错误( 3 9 。0 8 ) ；违反选择限制原则引起的错 误( 4 1 3 8 s ) ；第二类错误是冗词( 1 9 5 4 ) 。数据表明学生对词义掌握比较薄弱， 对于词义关系理解不深入。 由于词义造成的错误严重影响了学生作文的质量，因此本项研究从学习者自 身因素和其外部因素两个角度对错误产生的原因进行了探讨：学习者自身因素主 要包括迁移策略：第一，母语的负迁移是产生错误的一个重要原因，学生所犯的 错误有明显的汉语式英语的迹象第二，对于目标语( 英语) 的负迁移，具体表 现为形近词混淆和过渡概括。学习者外部的因素主要指教学方法不当而导致学习 者语言输入和输出中的词义错误。 针对学生作文中出现的词义错误以及产生原因，作者对英语词汇教学提出了 四点建议：第一，词义教学中应用成分分析法。第二，提高学生对于英汉语义差 异的认识。第三，教授词汇短语。第四，培养有效的词义习得策略。 本研究是对非英语专业学生作文中的词义错误进行的尝试性研究。由于语料 规模较小，在错误的识别和分析中难免会有某些疏漏，所以本研究仍存在一定的 局限性。尽管如此，所收集的8 0 份作文也能在一定程度上反映学生词汇语义学 习情况。希望本研究的结果对提高英语词汇教学有所帮助 关键词：词汇教学词汇意义词汇语义错误 a b s t r a c t
