受到了众多读者的喜爱以及学术界的广泛关注。国外研究福尔摩斯的著作层出不 穷，主要集中在研究柯南道尔的生平以及福尔摩斯和华生的几个人物方面。国 内学术界研究福尔摩斯探案集的人并不多，主要侧重于这部作品的翻译研究。 无论是国外还是国内，鲜有涉及其主题方面。而主题研究对于一部作品的研究来 说是不可或缺的内容。本文试图以德国著名哲学家伊曼努尔康德的人道主义理 论为分析工具，以多个福尔摩斯侦探小说为个案，探讨福尔摩斯系列小说中蕴含 的人道主义思想主题。 全文除导论和结论外，总共三章，分别从人性觉醒、人格独立和人道关怀三 个方面逐一展开论述。 第一章从人性觉醒的角度研究福尔摩斯系列小说的人道主义思想主题。柯 南道尔以现实的笔触直指当时英国社会存在的道德问题，深入而犀利地剖析了 罪犯的罪恶本质，并以罪犯的难逃法网和自食其果进一步突出作者对各种犯罪和 不道德行为的谴责以及对人性邪恶的批判。这一切使他的侦探小说不仅具有批判 现实主义的特征，还具有进步的社会意义，从而宣扬了“天网恢恢，疏而不漏” 的理想主义观点和“惩恶扬善 的道德观。 第二章主要考察福尔摩斯系列小说中所体现的人格独立。在福尔摩斯侦探小 说中，人道主义思想的核心内容自由、平等和独立有着充分的体现。本文通 过对恐怖谷和血字的研究的详尽解析，揭示作者对剥夺人身自由、信仰 趣的追求，对正义与社会道德的维护。他严守自己的道德观和人生观，让真正的 罪犯受到惩罚，使那些实际上是受害者的凶手得以忏悔，并给予诚心悔过的罪犯 改过自新的机会，得到灵魂的救赎。 。 综上所述，柯南道尔的侦探小说之所以倍受青睐，固然与福尔摩斯这个具 有永恒人格魅力的文学形象不可分割，但是小说中所蕴含的人道主义思想及其传 达的社会意义也是一个重要原因。小说中体现的原始欲求和善良意志，人性邪恶
