摘要 一直以来，国内外翻译界对戏剧翻译所作的研究为数不多，缺乏系统的戏剧 翻译理论的指导。尤其在国内，戏剧翻译多以文学欣赏与研究为目的，很少有关 于如何在翻译中体现戏剧的艺术特性一戏剧性的翻译理论。所谓戏剧的艺术特性 是指戏剧这种艺术形式区别于其他艺术形式的根本特征。众所周知，戏剧有两个 生命，一个生命存在于文学系统中，另一个生命存在于表演系统中。戏剧，作为 最古老最重要的文学体裁之一，被看作是一种语言艺术：戏剧，作为一种展现于 舞台的艺术形式，常被看作是一种表演艺术。正是戏剧的这种双重性使得人们对 戏剧性的认识也不同，从而导致对戏剧翻译认识上的不同。文学的戏剧性及其翻 译关注戏剧的文学构成方面，如情境、冲突、动作等等；舞台的戏剧性及其翻译 则重视舞台表演的种种要求。本文详尽论述了戏剧作为语言艺术和表演艺术的特
