摘要 近二十年来，自主学习一直是教育界讨论的热点问题。培养学习 者的自主能力也成为国内外的教育目标之一。国外的研究者已经在理 论和实践两个方面进行了深入的研究并取得了丰硕的成果。近年来， 在贯彻“以人为本”和“终身教育”理论的大背景下，越来越多的国 内外语教育工作者意识到培养学习者自主能力的重要性，并纷纷投入 到自主学习的研究之中，取得了初步的成果。本文试图在国内外研究 的基础上对如何在英语教学中发展学习者的c a 主能力进行分析和探 讨。 首先，理论界对学习者c a 主的定义还没有达成一致，最早提出学 习者自主的h o l e c 认为学习者自主首先是- -
