1. What do you think is the most serious challenge of living in a big city? The city is the place where all industrial cultural and educational enters are situated. In big cities you can find museums, theaters, clubs, cinemas ,big shops and hospitals, comfortable modern flats. People try to live in cites because all necessary objects are situated near by. For example if you get ill a hospital or a chemists shop will be situated near your home in the city, and if you live in the country it will be hard to find any medical help very quickly . Also in big cites you can find all sorts of entertainment such as cinemas clubs entertaining parks and so on. Many people like to spend their free time in them because it helps them to relax and bring them a lot of pleasure. It is really convenient that everything you need in daily life is situated near you. One of the most important comforts of big cites is that you can fast get everywhere you like by underground, bus, trolley bas. Also in big cities there is electricity therefore you can use electrical devices such as TV sets, computers, radio, microwave owen, refrigerators and so on. However living in the city has also its bad sides. Although big cities provide people with many conveniences, they certainly have their own disadventages. In town are traffic jams, pollution and noise. Traffic is the first and often most serious problem. The majority of people spend a great deal of time on their way to work or coming back from work. During the rush time, all the streets are jammed with packed buses and endless lines of bicycles and cars, and almost unavoidably traffic accusidents occur, resulting in broken limbs and tragic death. Air pollution comes second. Factories and moving vehicles are constantly giving off smoke and harmful gases. There is no way to get fresh air except to go out of the city on weekends or holidays. If the weather is bad, you will find the whole city overcast with smog. As a result, pollution induced diseases are now a common occurrence. However, noise, and violence are to be found in every big city and the situation seems to get worse year by year. In short, life in big cities is rather unnatural and unhealth. To me, it is of people to choose to live in big cities. As for me I think the most serious challenge of living in a big city is the Air pollution. Because air pollution can affect our health in many ways with both short-term and long-term effects. Air pollution can cause lung cancer, heart disease, and even damage to the brain, nerves, liver, or kidneys. 、I think the most serious challenge of living in a big city is your minds.Living in the fast-paced city, fierce competition, intense work, many people will complain! Some people say that living tired, it was tired of life, but things will not change because of your frustration, you have to learn to accept, you have to live in the imperfect life, so it would give us more motivation to fulfill our dreams and change our imperfect life. so when there is loss and suffering in your life, tell ourselves to make an effort to defeat it, when you succeed, you may not feel the painful experience is not a good thing. In fact, life is very short, as long as you correct attitude, have positive mind, accept the challenges of life, everything will become beautiful2. Say something about the impact of horror films on young children. At present, most of horror films, towards the direction of scary, emphasis on creating an atmosphere of terror and effect. And these movies did not take into account the affordability of the child. In the process of looking at these films or books, innocent hearts of children affected, they can not fully understand the plot, only to be impressed in the text or images generated by repeated stimulation bears, and even produce paranoid symptoms.Excessive bloody film will have passive affect on a childs personality and the understanding of social bias. Frequently exposed to too much blood and violence things, will make children to establish the wrong values, and believe that violence is a normal social behavior, in fact, the description of film and television in real-life is completely different. The most worrying is that there is no film classification system in our country; whether children can see a movie depends on the parents of judgments.3. What factors influence you most in your choice of a job? When we are to make our own choice on a job,we are often influenced by several factors.Id like to choose a job in which there are challenges and competition. Challenges and competition make me creative. They are the production of the development of society and they give me a sense of the pursuit of excellence. It is my inborn nature. Nothing can stop me from bringing my intelligence into full play. Certainly, I also take income and other factors into consideration, but challenges and competition are the most important factors in my opinion. Otherwise my life will be humdrum by keeping idle in my work. Lastly, the future of the job. Whether a job has a bright future is also very considerable when we are to choose a job. Thats why most of us want to know clearly the structure of a company, to see whether it is well run. In most cases a well-run company has a good future.Of course, there are other factors, such as location of the company, holidays and so on. However, the two mentioned above, are the most important ones./ Some important factors to consider in choosing a job are benefits, location, environment, advancement possibilities, and security. In my opinion, the most influenced factor is the enviroment . Certainly ,other factors like benifits and security are also in my conciderarion. Now my major is medicine chemistry, after graduation, the biggest possibility is working in a company or as a resercher working in an institute, and my intrest is doing research,so the enviroment that Iam working is what i am concerned because i think the coperation and communication between the reseach staffs are crucial .And the knowlege itself is something to learn from each other, just like every famous university invit some big fish in various fields to have speeches, and it is very important to make a progress.Proverbially keep good men company and you shall be of the number.so the factor that influnce me most in choosing a job is the working enviroment.4. Some people would rather not work if they cant find the ideal job. Whats your opinion of this?As for me, I argue that it is unwise. The reasons are as follows. To begin with, if they dont work, they would still depend on their parents that will increase the parents burden. Furthermore, time wait for no man. It is stupid for them to waste time. Finally, with the competitive job market, it is very difficult to find an ideal job. They can find a job at first to attain work experience and improve their ability. Then they can find a satisfactory easily. So they must stay positive and optimistic. Also they are supposed to realize their reality. They will be more successful./ Well,My topic is “Some people would rather not work if they cant find the ideal job. Whats your opinion of this?”As you know I have never got a job yet ,so it is really a challenge for me to answer the question. But I want to have a try. They do not work just because they cant find the ideal job. They may cite a variety of reasons for their dissatisfaction with the job, including lack of opportunity for advancement, no recognition for achievements, insufficient benefits and even boredom. In a word ,they think that they are Underpaid. So how to get an ideal job? The most important personal factors for find an ideal job include experience, practical knowledge, and Job performance. The more factors one gets hold of , it is more possible for him to get the job.In my opinion, in order to imprive ones market value and make clear of what is an ideal job , one have to work before he get an ideal job.5. Why do you think our government encourages young people to work in less developed areas?Firstly, our countrys main policy is to focus on development through economic restricting and by relying on reform, opening-up and technological progress with a view to improving peoples living standards .But now, inter-regional difference in human resource is very large, and it is severely limiting the pace of adjusting and optimizing industrial structure. Secondly, there is a board scope for your people in less developed areas, where we can bring our strength into full play and enhance our abilities to a great extent. At last, generally there are many national minorities in less developed areas, so human-resources exchange can give a boost of unity and convergence of nationalities./ I think it is quite necessary to encourage young people to work in the poverty-stricken and less developed areas. And the government have been trying to adopt effective measures to make the backward areas catch up with the advanced. For one thing, the less developed areas are quite behind the advanced areas in technological development, and the ideas of the people there are a long way behind those of today. To put an end to backwardness, the economically underdeveloped areas are in dire need of help. college graduates have been well educated, and they can provide some new ideas for the development of these areas. So college graduates are really needed . They can contribute a lot to the development of those areas. For another, job vacancy in highly-developed areas is scarce with severe competition. College students are increasing, and many of them want to work or live in the well developed areas. But there are not enough jobs for so many people. So I think it is a good idea to go to the less developed areas to relieve the burden of unemployment. Thats all, thank you!6. How would you prepare for a job interview?During the job interview, you have the opportunity to sell yourself to the prospective employer. Make the most of it by planning ahead. You should know the Occupation and Career Selection Sources, Read about the employer, what they do, their problems and future plans (annual reports, organizational charts, policies and procedures, staff manual, and job description of the position being interviewed for). When you choose the job, you should prepare a current neatly typed resume tailored to the position to leave with the interviewer. A resume is your representative to the job screening committee, and it should make a statement that expresses you and what you are. Your resume must be able to indicate what you can do for the employer and show your overall preparation for the position. A resume should contain the following information: Your name, address, and telephone number(s). Education: school name and location, graduation date or dates of attendance, degree obtained or highest grade completed. Experience: indicate job title, name and address of employer, dates of employment, and description of job duties. Prepare for the Day of the Interview: you should be conservative but not prudish. Be neat. such as check for missing buttons, dragging hems, split seams, etc. Avoid jangling jewelry or new wave fashion. Avoid judgmental remarks about previous jobs or bosses. Indicate areas of the job to which you can apply previous experience and training. Be creative in describing your skills and relating them to a new job. Remember to keep this in mind: Every interview is a valuable learning experience. 7. Do you think it is desirable to have a job in the same city where your parents live? Give your reasons, please.Yes, I think so. First, living with my parents in the same city means a more comfortable life. I can have a dinner every week, my mother is a very good cooker. If I have some trouble in my daily life, for example, too busy to do something, my parents can help me. Second, my work may be easy, if I can live with my parents. It is so familiar to me in my hometown, a lot of friends can give me help when I begin to work./ Yes, I do think it is desirable to. The main reasons are as the follows.First, usually, you may familiar with the surrounding circumstance, since the city your parents live is also the city you were born and you grow up. The proficiency in where is where and who is who is facility in your daily life. The interpersonal relationship your parents have built is the priceless treasure for your career, which should be preserved and cherished.Besides, when you really start your weekly work, there is few of time to deal with yourself. If possible, you may live with your parents, so that they could do instead of yourself. Meanwhile, as time goes by, you parents are aging, a lot of things you could do for them as well. All in all, having a job in the same city where your parents live may let you convenient to back home and your parents and you could meet frequently even take care of each other.8. In your view, what makes a happier life, wealth or health? Or being with your friends and family?Wealth and health are both important for a happier life. Being with your friend and family could bring you happiness. But theyre not the determinant of happiness. I think happiness is an attitude to life. What makes a happier life? Although happiness varies for individual, therere a lot common in peoples mind. Universally, wealth, health, friendship, love and so on constitute the elements of happiness. Without them, it means hunger, pain, loneliness for most of people, not to mention the feeling of happiness. Maybe its not certain about what makes a happier life, but we must renmenber the following sentences. First, realizing enduring happiness doesnt come from success, such as wealth, status. Second, nurture your spiritual self. / In my view,a happier life is neither a simple issue of wealth or health nor you are being with your friends and family. A happier life is a state of mind, a matter of attitude. If you want to know what makes your life happier,at first youd better clear that what you want most. To somebody, wealth and social status is the most important. So if they get wealth or win respect for their status, they feel happier. But to somebody who believe that a strong love between friends, relatives or lovers makes them happier,so being with friends and family is more important and it is the source of happiness. So a happier life is like a complicated thing but if you know what you want most and what is the most important to you so that a happier life is simple. It is crucial for us to clear that life is our choice and a happier life is a state of mind. Keep a simple way and get what we want, all of us will enjoy our happy life.9. As a university graduate, what contributions do you think you can make to society in future? Its widely accepted that ones value of life lies to his contribution to the society. Our most important contribution can be to know the world, to adapt the world and finally change the world. The first contribution is to choose a life role to play and get it well done, Life is like a show, and everyone has their own part to play, only if you play the right role can you have an unregretful life. The second contribution is to get a dream and devote our efforts to achieve it. Its no exaggeration that a man without a dream is like a river without a course, it flows aimlessly, a dream give you the will power to move forwardThe third contribution is never to stop trying new things and doing creative things. The only thing everyone should put in mind is that you will never fail as long as you try, you only fail when you stop trying. The forth contribution is that to gain the value of life. All these things we are doing, are not for appreciation by others, but for self gratification. Devote our efforts to reaching our points of self gratification as opposed to pleasing others, by doing so, we will end up achieving more,As a university graduate, proactive people like us exercise free will, the freedom to choose the response that best applies to your values. We have to work hard to get where we want to be - there are no free rides.10. What suggestions would you love to give to those who have difficulty in paying college tuition?Tuition is a familiar topic for us students, and it is used to refer to a fee charged for educational instruction; especially at a formal institution of learning or by a private tutor usually in the form of one-to-one tuition. Actually, some dilemmas will occur if we can not afford our tuition, so I will figure out some approach to work it out in the following lecture. One way to solve the problem that who have difficulty in paying college tuition is apply for the scholarship which is especially for poverty students, which can encourage us to study harder and get better degree, but unfortunately this kind of scholarship is usually applied for after the first semester, so sometimes it can not solve the problem effectively ;another way that I advice is to earn money by taking part time jobs, though which we can strengthen our abilities to communicate with other persons from one aspect, and from another aspect, we can also improve our social experiences and learn more about what the true world is before we get into the society after education. In addition, getting a sponsor or private investor to pay for college is a smart alternative too. Sponsor loans are typically interest-free, and repayment does not start until six months after graduation. Terms are established before funds are dispersed. Repayment is a fixed percentage of their future income, usually 10 - 15 years. In most cases, the money paid back to the sponsor is considerably less than the loan amount. So these are the three methods I advice.11. What do you think of students taking a part-time job while in sc
