，我国与世界各国的交流日益 频繁。作为国际语言的英语也显得越来越重要，并已成为人们工作、生活中必不可 少的一部分。为了培养2 1 世纪的高素质英语人才，近年来我国对各阶段英语教学 的投资力度不断加大，我国的大学英语教学也取得了喜人的成绩，但仍有不足之处。 本文着眼于非英语专业精读教学。众所周知，精读夔学一直是中国各高校非英 语专业学生的重要课程，在大学英语教学中起着举足轻重的作用。近年来，随着全 球外语教学目标的改变，大学英语教学也以培养学生的交际能力为最终目标，然而 对于非英语专业学生来讲，区没有足够的课时，与说、写、译等各技能相对应的课 程就无法开设，而师生在精读课上所花的时间与精力最多，因此精读课应责无旁贷 地担负起培养学生综合运用英语能力的重任；其次，我国非英语专业的学生占英语 学习者的绝大多数。因此非英语专业精读课教学是大学英语教学能否成功的关键， 对全面提高我国人民的英语水平起着非常重要的作用。然而目前精读教学的现状并 不乐观，近年来，大学英语精读课教学受到了来自海内外学者的批评。影响精读课 教学的因素很多，但不当的教学法应负有不可推卸的责任。 以教师为中心的传统教学法，忽视了学生在课堂教学中的作用，主要是以教师 讲授为主，学生参与教学活动的机会很少。该法只注重学生语言能力和读、译技能 内答摘要 v 的培养，而忽视了学生综合运用英语能力的培养，是造成学生高分低能的重要原因。 针对这个问题，以培养学生交际能力为目标的交际法应运而生，并被引入我国且被 广泛采纳。它克服了传统法中的弊端，是一个较为理想的教学方法，但在实际运用 中，却碰到了不少实际问题，因受师资力量不足、真实性教学材料匮乏、学生英语 基础太差等因素的影响，交际法在我国非英语专业精读教学中的运用并没有取得预 期的效果，因此改革大学英语精读教学势在必行。i 卜一 本文提出了在非英语专业精读教学中应用综合教学模式的观点，该模式充分吸 收了传统法和交际教学法的优点，摈弃了他们的不足，以学生为中心，以培养学生 的交际能力和综合技能为目的。本文对该模式进行了充分论证，并提供了可供参考 的教学过程。 全文共分六章： 、第一章通过分析我国非英语专业精读教学的重要性、现状及存在的问题阐述了 撰写本文的目的和意义，并勾勒全文的写作大纲。 第二章重点讨论了交际能力的含义及其发展。因为培养学生的交际能力是外语 教学的最终目标，同时也是该模式下非英语专业精读课的教学目标，因此对交际 能力的概念要有清楚的了解和透彻的理解，这样才能便于我们设计培养学生交际能 力的教学活动，和便于我们选择有利于培养学生交际能力的教学方法。 第三章通过对应用于精读课教学的主要方法的全面而详细的分析，指出了它们 的优点和不足，提出了在目前中国环境下应寻求一种合适的教学方法以培养出祖国 急需的外语人才。 第四章探讨了影响教学法改革和选择的重要因素，再次论证了在目前中国环境 下应为非英语专业精读教学寻求一种合适的教学方法的必要性。 第五章是本文的重点，首先解释了本文的综合模式的概念，然后对该模式从特 点到优点和缺点进行了详细而全面的分析，进一步论证了在中国环境下运用该模式
