摘要 2 1 世纪，随着多媒体技术的发展，计算机技术在教育领域的使用范围逐步扩大， 计算机多媒体技术与各个学科的教学活动的结合愈发紧密。然而，计算机多媒体技术 的应用在科技英语这一学科仍处于起步阶段，因而造成其教学方法的相对滞后。 本文依据理论背景、教学方法、具体操作和调查反馈的思路布局谋篇。文中详 尽分析了科技英语文体特色和计算机技术辅助语言教学的特点，在建构主义的理论指 导下分析了计算机多媒体技术应用于科技英语教学实践的理论基础和可行性，同时将 国内同行研究提出的合作教学法与多媒体技术环境下的科技英语教学结合，分析其应 用于多媒体教学的价值，并将其同时作为教学课件的设计的指导方针。本研究将理论 研究与实践应用并重。在结合理论指导与科技英语的教学特点的基础上笔者利用 m a c r o m e d i a 公司出品的多媒体制作软件d i r e c t o r 8 5 的强大功能设计了具有较强针对性 的教学课件。文中详细讲解了如何利用d i r e c t o r 8 5 制作多媒体课件的过程，可以作为 同行使用的参考，同时介绍了针对实验研究制作出的科技英语教学课件的独有特色。 实践是检验一切的标准。本文针对研发的教学课件在教学实践环节中的应用效果进行 了调查，并对结果进行了分析讨论。调查研究采用了测试、问卷和访问相结合的方式， 力求客观地分析和评价自主研发的多媒体教学课件对科技英语教学产生的效果。 研究结果表明在激发学习兴趣、提高学习效率、帮助分析理解和增加信息提供 量等等环节该教学课件起到了一定程度上的积极作用。本研究是理论研究与实践调查 相结合的产物。但是，该研究只是针对提高科技英语教学质量这一问题的初步尝试性 研究，仍然有很多问题有待解决。 关键词：科技英语教学；多媒体技术；建构主义；合作教学法；d i r e c
