中外英语硕士论文引言部分语法隐喻使用的对比研究 摘要 语法隐喻的历史可以追溯到远古时代 早在中世纪人们就己开始大量使用语 法隐喻 近年来 隐喻更是成为跨学科的一个话题 从2 0 世纪6 0 年代开始 语言学家和哲学家对隐喻现象进行了广泛的研究 其中功能语言学和认知语言学 在隐喻研究方面取得了较丰硕的研究成果 本文所探讨的是系统功能语法对语法 隐喻的研究 并将其运用于对中外英语硕士论文前言部分语法隐喻使用的分析和 研究 根据韩礼德 1 9 9 4 语法隐喻指通过词汇语法形式对于一个意义的隐喻性 表达 与其相对应的非隐喻形式财是表达较直接意义的最为原始的词汇语法形 式 根据语言的纯理功能 语法隐喻最初被分为两种类型 概念隐喻和人际隐喻 后来 马丁提出了语篇隐喻 韩礼德后来又通过对科技语篇的分析将语法隐喻划 分为1 3 种类型 中美硕博论文全文数据库 本族语作者 另1 0 篇选自万方数据库 中国英语专 业作者 随后 作者对这两个数据库中引言部分进行了统计分析 分别对语法 隐喻出现的频率 每种语法隐喻出现的频率及每种语法隐喻的实现方式进行了对 比分析 研究结果表明 在中外英语硕士论文前言部分中都存在大量语法隐喻现象 但英语本族者的论文前言中语法隐喻出现频率比较高 同时发现语法隐喻最常见 的实现手段是是名词化 但英语本族者的论文前言部分中语法隐喻的实现手段呈 现多样化 而中国英语专业作者所采取的语法隐喻实现手段比较单一 基本上是 名词化 用名词化等语法隐喻的原因是和硬士论文的篇章性特点及语域相关 也 和人们不同的思维方式有关 笔者认为此项研究将会帮助读者更好地去理解和把 握硕士论文的特点 从而为硕士论文的教学及写作服务 本文的新颖之处在于第一次以实证性的对比研究 在大量的语料中逐句分析 比较
