哈尔滨理t 大学文学硕上学位论文 大学生英语语音意识与阅读能力相关性研究 摘要 在过去的2 0 年里，西方教育界越来越关注语音意识的问题。经过多年 的研究，论证了语音意识及其与阅读能力的相关性。在西方国家，大量的研 究表明，语音意识直接与儿童早期阅读和拼写能力相关。在中国，西方语音 意识的研究成果已被引入到中小学英语教学领域，但是语音意识的研究主体 往往是儿童，而忽视了另外一个重要的群体一中国大学生外语学习者。他们 是中国英语学习的主体，同时他们中的大多数已经接受英语教育多年。因 此，研究大学生英语语音意识和阅读能力的相关性是极其必要的。同时，由 于中文和英文是完全不同的语言系统，中文属表意系统而英文则属表音系 统，这方面的研究显得尤为重要。 本研究旨在探讨语音意识的不同语言层面之间的相关性( 音节意识，韵 首韵尾意识，音素意识和单词拼读能力) 及语音意识与阅读能力的相关性。 本文研究主体为理工大学随机选择的5 4 名来自不同专业的非英语专业大学 生。以定量研究为主，定性研究为辅。采用音节计数，音节删除，韵首韵尾 辨识，音素计数，音素比较，音素辨识，假词拼写和假词认读等八项任务对 语音意识，即音节意识，韵首韵尾意识，音素意识和单词拼读能力进行测 试。各种统计分析结果表明：( 1 ) 各种语音意识任务之间密切相关。( 2 ) 各种语音意识任务与阅读能力之间成显著正相关，其中音素意识相关性最 强，韵首韵尾意识次之，音节意识最弱。( 3 ) 单词拼读能力在四个因素中 对阅读能力预测性最强。 本文结论对于中国大学生英语教学具有理论和现实的指导意义。大学英 语课程中应加强对学生语音意识和单词拼读能力的培养，同时英语教师应充 分认识到将语音训练融入到英语教学中的必要性和紧迫性。
