B【解析】Huacachina is a remote village in the country of Peru. After flying into the capital of Lima, you need to take a bus to Ica. If you like visiting ancient temples, you can go to Comatrana instead. It is nearer to Huacachina than Ica. Keep in mind the taxis here will charge you more money, because they are the only way into Huacachina. Fortunately, it is only a 20-minute ride. Once you get to Huacachina, you will realize it is completely surrounded by desert as far as the eyes can see. In the middle of the small village is a small natural lake. Villagers say the lake looks like a mirror, and that the blue sky above looks like an upside-down ocean. The mud from its green waters is said to have deep curing qualities. For entertainment you can bathe in the lake, drive sand-vehicles, or explore the village, which takes less than 10 minutes to walk across. If you want a peaceful vacation in a unique place, Huacachina is the hidden treasure you are looking for.【17题详解】此题为听力题,解析略。 AHaving trouble distinguishing one furry panda from another? A facial recognition app will make it easy for you. The app is developed by the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Pandas along with researchers in Singapore Nanyang Technological University and Sichuan Normal University. The image analysis research began in 2017. A database now contains about 120,000 images and 10,000 video clips of giant pandas. Close to 10,000 panda pictures have been analyzed and marked. Using the database, researchers are able to carry out automatic facial recognition on panda faces to tell one animal from another, the center said. Its not just a gimmick(噱头) for tourists, though. Panda researchers hope algorithms and AI technology will help them analyze data on pandas both in captivity (圈养) and the wild. The app and database will help us gather more precise and well-rounded data on the population, distribution, ages, gender ratio, birth and deaths of wild pandas, who live in deep mountains and are hard to track, said Chen Peng, a researcher with the base who co-authored a paper on Giant Panda Face Recognition Using Small Database. It will definitely help us improve efficiency and effectiveness in conservation and management of the animals, Chen said.China has carried out four scientific field research project of giant pandas in the wild. The giant panda was scientifically discovered 150 years ago and named in the city of Yaan, Sichuan. It remains one of the worlds most endangered species. The number of captive pandas was 548 globally as of November last year. Fewer than 2,000 pandas live in the wild, mostly in the provinces of Sichuan and Shaanxi.21. How many pandas have been carefully recorded according to the passage?A. 120,000.B. 10,000.C. 2,000.D. 548.22. With the help of the app and database, we can get information about pandas except _.A. the populationB. their agesC. the birth and deaths of wild pandasD. the weight23. What can we learn from the passage?A. The AI technology makes no difference to the protection of pandas.B. At present, the app is not practical for tourists.C. More pandas live in the wild rather than in captivity.D. Pandas are the most endangered species around the world.【答案】21. B 22. D 23. 根据第二段中的“The image analysis research began in 2017. A database now contains about 120,000 images and 10,000 video clips of giant pandas. Close to 10,000 panda pictures have been analyzed and marked.” 根据第三段中的“The app and database will help us gather more precise and well-rounded data on the population, distribution, ages, gender ratio, birth and deaths of wild pandas, who live in deep mountains and are hard to track”的信息可知,该应用程序和数据库将帮助我们收集更精确和全面的数据,这些数据涉及生活在深山且难以追踪的野生大熊猫的种群、分布、年龄、性别比、出生和死亡。 根据最后一段“The number of captive pandas was 548 globally as of November last year. Fewer than 2,000 pandas live in the wild,”可知,截至去年11月,全球圈养大熊猫数量为548只,比生活在野外的2000只熊猫少多了。 如第3小题属于细节理解题中的语意转化题,根据最后一段“The number of captive pandas was 548 globally as of November last year. Fewer than 2,000 pandas live in the wild,”可知,截至去年11月,全球圈养大熊猫数量为548只。 C。BA survey of university students shows that those who place more online orders for food seem more likely to feel depressed. The Panel Study of Chinese University Students released by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences surveyed students at 18 universities. The survey found that time spent online in general had a significant impact on students mental health. The longer a student spent online each day, the worse was the self-evaluation and the higher the likelihood of depression. For sleep quality, about 45 percent of student respondents gave themselves a score of 6 points out of 10. Data showed that 6.4 percent of university students order takeaway food online almost every day, followed by 16 percent who place orders 3 to 5 times a week and 21 percent who use the services 1 to 2 times weekly. Dr. Zhang Zhenyu, who participated in the research, said students on average had a self-assessment that rated their physical and mental health at 8.45 points. Over 36 percent scored more than 10 points on the CESD-10 depression scale. Zhang also found that 29.9 percent of students thought themselves fat or very fat and 54.3 percent said their appearance scored 6 out of 10.According to the survey, 2.5 percent have had facial plastic surgery(整形手术) and 5.8 percent have plans to improve their appearance through surgery in the next three years. Among students who want plastic surgery and those willing to do it, girls take up to 64 percent and 79.8 percent respectively(依次).The survey also showed that 22.6 percent of students were left-behind children when they were kids, which research defines as children separated from their parents for six months in a row who had to be looked after by others. Zhang said the early experience of separation from parents had a negative impact on students mental health and self-assessment scores. They also had higher depression scores than those who lived with parents. The research team also found that students with good family economic conditions scored higher in all dimensions than students from poor families. Students with a good physical and mental status had strong time management and self-management abilities.24. According to the surveyed students, how many of them make online orders for daily food?A. 6.4%.B. 16%.C. 21%.D. 45%.25. How is the second paragraph developed?A. By making comparisons.B. By giving clear explanation.C. By giving data.D. By following time order.26. If a student spent a lot of time online, he (or she) would be _.A. better in the self-evaluationB. more likely to feel depressedC. in high spirits in daily lifeD. mentally and physically healthy27. What can be inferred from the passage?A. Nine out of ten students regard themselves as fat or very fat people.B. Many a girl shows no interest in facial plastic surgery.C. Students who lived with their parents longer had lower depression scores.D. A student with a strong body usually comes from a well off family.【答案】24. A 25. C 26. B 27. 根据第二段“Data showed that 6.4 percent of university students order takeaway food online almost every day, followed by 16 percent who place orders 3 to 5 times a week and 21 percent who use the services 1 to 2 times weekly.” 故选A。 根据第二段中的“The survey found that time spent online in general had a significant impact on students mental health. The longer a student spent online each day, the worse was the self-evaluation and the higher the likelihood of depression”可知,调查发现,上网时间总体上对学生的心理健康有显著影响。 根据最后一段“Zhang said the early experience of separation from parents had a negative impact on students mental health and self-assessment scores. They also had higher depression scores than those who lived with parents.” C。CNotre-Dame de Paris, a cathedral church in Paris, is the most famous of the Gothic cathedrals of the Middle Ages. For the French, it represents something immortal, ever-present and unchanging, like a mountain. Built over almost two centuries, the Notre-Dame is, as President Emmanuel Macron said, “where the French lived all their great moments”. Soldiers prayed here before leaving for the Crusades; Napoleon Bonaparte was crowned here; it survived the French Revolution, two World Wars and the Nazi occupation. It is where men bend their knees to profess love and thousands of tourists take photos every day.A fire, whose cause was not identified yet, engulfed(吞没), on April 15th, the cathedrals upper structure. More than 400 firefighters took part in the 15-hour battle to control the blaze(火苗) that triggered sorrow over the globe. The extent of the damage is still unknown, but the fire destroyed much of the gothic cathedrals wood-timbered roof and spire(塔尖). The cathedral will certainly be restored (the French government promises), but the sight of flames bringing down the spire moved the world in a manner far exceeding its religious significance.French Culture Minister Franck Riester on Thursday said the government would draw all the consequences from the huge flames that destroyed the centuries-old Notre Dame Cathedral, adding measures to protect the national heritage were on the table. “Staff from the fire department, the culture ministry and t
