Cold rolled low carbon steel plate and strip(Q/BQB 403-2003 replacing Q/BQB 403-1999 BZJ 407-1999)1 ScopeThis standard stipulates classification and code, dimension, shape, weight, technical requirement, inspection and test, packaging, identification and certificate of quality ect. of cold rolled low carbon steel plate and strip.This standard is applicable to cold rolled low carbon steel plate and strip (0.30mm3.5mm thick) (hereinafter refer to steel plate and steel strip) produced by Baoshan Steel Co. Ltd.2 Normative referenceThe clauses in following documentations become clauses of this standard because they are quoted. For quoted dated documentations, its follow-up modified sheet (excluding corrigenda) or modified version are not applicable to this standard, however, its encouraged that parties who reach an agreement according to this standard discuss if latest versions of these documentations can be used. The oil film should be able to be removed with alkaline aqueous solutions. The supplier guarantees that products will not rust in 6 months since the date of manufacturing under the condition of non-naked package, normal transportation, loading and unloading and storage. C=(+2+)/4;=(+2+)/4.6.5 Tensile strain markThe provision about tensile strain mark of steel plate and strip is as shown in table 6.Table 6Sign Tensile Strain MarkDC01 (St12) Steel plate and strip are stored at ambient temperature. It should be guaranteed that there will be no tensile strain mark when used within three months after the production.DC04 (St14, St15) Steel plate and strip are stored at ambient temperature. It should be guaranteed that there will be no tensile strain mark when used within three months after the production.DC05 (BSC2) Steel plate and strip are stored at ambient temperature. It should be guaranteed that there will be no tensile strain mark when used.DC06 (St16, St14-T, BSC3) Steel plate and strip are stored at ambient temperature. It should be guaranteed that there will be no tensile strain mark when used.6.6 surface quality6.6.1 Steel plate and strip should be no defects on surface bad for usage such as scar, crack and impurities and no lamination.6.6.2 Characteristics of surface quality level of steel plate and strip are as indicated in table 7.6.6.3 For steel strip, there is no chance to cut the defective part, so its allowed to deliver with defects, but defective part should not exceed 6% of overall length.Table 7LevelCodeCharacteristicsLess senior finishing surfaceFB (03)The surface is permissible to have defects which dont affect molding, painting and galvanization, e.g. small scuffing, press mark, dot, roller mark and oxidation color.Senior finishing surfaceFC (04)There is no visible defect by naked eyes on the better side of the product, and the other side must at least meet the requirement of FB.Ultra-senior finishing surfaceFD (05)There should be no defects on the better side of the product, i.e. it should not affect the appearance quality after painting or galvanizing; the other side must at least meet the requirement of FB.6.7 Surface structureWhen surface structure is textual (D), average roughness Ra shall be controlled 0.6mRa1.9m; when surface structure is lucent (B), average roughness Ra shall be controlled Ra0.9.7 Inspection and test7.1 The appearance of steel plate and strip shall be inspected by naked eyes.7.2 Dimension and shape of steel plate and strip shall be measured by proper meters.7.3 Value is obtained when 16% strain; n value is obtained within 10%20% strain range; when even tensile rate is less than 20%, strain range is from 10% to the end of even tension.7.4 Inspection item, number of test sample, sampling method, test method and sampling direction of each batch of steel plate and strip should be in accordance with the provision of table 8.Table 8No.Inspection itemNumber of test samples (unit)Sampling methodTest methodSampling direction1Chemical analysis1/ovenGB/T 222GB/T 223-2Tension test1GB/T 2975GB/T 228Traverse sample3Plastic strain ratio (value)1 or 3GB/T 2975GB/T 5027-4Strain hardening index (value)1 or 3GB/T 2975GB/T 5028-5Surface roughness-GB/T 2975 SAE J911-Note: one test sample, three test samples7.5 Steel plate and strip should be accepted by batch. Each inspection batch shall be composed of no more than 30t of steel plate and strip with same sign, same specification and same process status. 7.6 For tensile test, plastic strain ratio (value) test and strain hardening index (value) test, if any test result is not in accordance with standard requirement, take double quantity of test samples from the same batch to reinspect this item. If reinspection result is ok (including all indicators required by the test on this item), the whole batch are qualified products, otherwise, reinspection is not qualified. If so, single piece which has been tested to be unqualified shall be unacceptable, but single piece which hasnt been tested can be submitted one by one for test and acceptance newly. 8 packaging, identification and certificate of qualityPackaging, identification and certificate of quality of steel plate and strip should be in accordance with the provision of Q/BQB 400.
