Show the class the knowledge tree of Lesson 8 and tell them the words and sentences they will learn.(一)1.Ask the students to guess the new words of we will learn today.2.Free talk .Guide the new sentences of today: How old are you ? Im nine. How old is he/she ? Hes/Shes twelve.3.let the students to write the new sentences on the practice paper.4 Do some problems: How old _ you ? _ he ? _ Bob and Zhou Pei?.5 Tell them the answers and conclusion the rules together.6 Play some guessing games to guess the ages.(二)1 Learn the new words and sentences by themselves: smart shy active funny He / She looks active.2Guide the words and sentences by the computer showing.3 Show the album of my four friends to describe them with the sentences : He / She looks .4 Lets chant . You look He looks I look She looks We look Lucy looksStep2. Presentation(呈现 输入、理解)出示本课挂图1、Read the text once and find out new words.2、Ss: Begin to read the text.学生第一遍泛读课文,找出不会的单词。3、T : Now lets look at the new words. 教师讲解课文中的新单词、短语。4、多媒体出示课文相关信息表,5、T: Now read the text once more. And fill in the blanks. You can discuss in your groups.Ss: Begin to read it.需给学生五分钟左右阅读。6、填信息表7、Ss read the text again.
