How do you feel today?S: Fine, thanks. / Just so soStep 2 Leading inT: Sometimes, if we have a good mood, that means if we feel happy, or if we go on a trip to somewhere, we always want to take a picture, right? Well, we know yesterday, Liming, Danny, Jenny visited Tiananmen Square. Today, they are taking pictures at the Palace Museum. So, in this lesson, our topic is taking pictures at the Palace Museum. First, lets learn new words of this lesson.Step 3 New words learningCamera (take a real one)T: Whats this? Its a camera. (show a real one) (follow me)T: What about this? This is a camera. (follow me)Picture (show real one)T: What is it? S: Its a picture/photo.T: What are these? S: These are pictures. Take a picture Take a picture (of sb.)=take ones pictureT: Okay, may I take a picture of you all?S: Sure!T: look at the camera, say cheese!S: Okay, okay.T: This time, lets make a funny face. Please stand beside your classmates. Ready? Lets take a picture. 1, 2, 3.Here we have some other new words, look at the screen. Step 4 DemonstrationT: Just now, I have said that today, our topic is taking pictures at the Palace Museum. So, now, just imagine here is the Palace Museum, all of us are travelers, and we go on a trip the Palace Museum. The sky is blue, there are some birds flying in the sky. The Palace is red and yellow. Its beautiful.1. Take a pictureSo, I want to take a picture. (Look at the screen, tell me, what dose “take a picture” mean?) (Walk to a student) Q: Can you help me take a picture?2. Cameras are easyHere is the camera, dont worry, cameras are easy. (Follow me)take ones picture= take a picture for sb.T: May I take your picture? May I take a picture for you?3. Stand besideT: I want your picture too . please stand beside.Step 5 ReadingSo much for our new words learning, lets go on our trip to the Palace Museum.Pre-reading question answering:Have you ever visited the Palace Museum?Do you want to live there?Now, lets have a look at what has happened when Danny, Jenny, and Liming take pictures at the Palace Museum. Turn your books to p22. Now, read the text while listening to the tape, and then answer the questions on the screen as follows:What is Jenny doing? What does Danny want to do?Whats wrong with Danny?Whats wrong with Dannys tail? Step 6 Speaking practice Read the dialogue in groups.
