you should brush your teeth twice a day.教材分析第二单元谈论如何保持健康。话题一介绍了感冒、头疼等常见病的名称,出现了疾病名称的词:toothache, backache, fever, cough, headache, stomachache等以及相对应的短语:have a cold, have a fever, have a cough, have a headache, have a toothache, have a backache, have a stomachache等。通过kangkang 和betty的对话,呈现了询问生病情况的对话:whats wrong with you? i have a 等,以及表达关心所提的建议:you should 和you shouldnt。语言功能方面要求学生学会用英语描述疾病并能就疾病征求他人意见、给他人提建议等。要求学生能在课后用英语写一篇描述疾病并提出有益建议的文章。能力目标1. 能听懂有关日常小病的名称及相关话题。2. 能熟练地运用should,shouldnt针对日常小病提建议。3. 能正确朗读介绍日常小病的对话或文章。知识目标 能正确运用以下短语进行书面表达:have a cold, have a fever, have a cough, have a headache, have a toothache, have a backache, have a stomachache等。 教学重点have a cold, have a fever, have a cough, have a headache, have a toothache, have a backache, have a stomachache等短语的理解及运用。教学难点就日常小病用英语提建议教学过程:step 1 introduction1、enjoy some photos about the school sports meet before class.2、ask some questions according to the photos.what are the photos about?will you take part in it?why do you like sports?help students to answer: because it can make us strong, if we exercise every day, we will be stronger and stronger , more and more beautiful. it can help us keep healthy. 3、bring out the new lesson like thist:but if we dont exercise often ,what will we be like? (slide 2)s:we will be ill like them.step 2 presentation1、show the learning aims. (slide 3)2、learn the new phrases about the different kinds of illness by showing the pictures. (slide 4-9)have a cold, have a fever, have a cough, have a headache, have a toothache, have a backache 3、teacher acts “ have a stomachache ”,let students guess: whats wrong with miss huang? help students to answer: you have a stomachache. 4、make students summarize the rules: n + ache 5、traslate chinese into english. (slide 10) 6、read the phrases together three times.step 3 consolidation 1、play a game: (slide 11)teacher have prepared 7 cards, choose 7 students , at the back of cards, it is written 7 phrases. choose 7 students , each student choose one card, standing in the front of the classroom. and then ,ask other students to guess “whats the matter ?” use :do you have a ?” to ask. they only answer yes or no. 2、listen to 1c and number the pictures.( slide 12) 3、choose one student to check the order. 4、ask and answer according to the answers.
