Inchina,themainvarietiesofteaaregreentea,blacktea,Oolongtea,scentedtea,whitetea,yellowteaanddarktea.Intheearlydays,theChineseboiledtheirtealeaveswithwaterandotheringredientssuchassaltandginger;latertheygroundthedriedleavestoapowderandwhippedthemupwithhotwater.ItwasnotuntilthatMingDynastythatitbecamemonpracticetoinfusetheloosetealeavesinhotwaterinteapots,andthentopourtheinfusedliquidintobowlstodrink.Nowadays,wemakedifferentteaindifferentparticularways.Overthecenturies,Chinadevelopedanextraordinaryteaculture,parablewiththewinecultureoftheWest.
