山东人学硕l 学位论文 摘要 优秀的儿童文学译作不仅能为我国儿章成长提供丰盛的精神食粮 也能启发 我国的儿童文学创作 自晚清时代起 就有外国儿童文学作品陆续被介绍给广大 的中国读者 在众多的译作中 不乏 小王子 爱丽斯奇境历险记 和 哈利 波 特 系列等经典读本 但是与此同时诸多不能令人满意的译本也充斥其间 这与 当今儿童文学翻译研究得不到足够重视有直接关系 目前为止尚无完整的专门指 导儿童文学翻译的理论体系 仅有的几篇谈论儿童文学翻译的文章也多是译者的 经验之谈 并不系统 基于以上原因 本文作者试图寻找一个能够用来指导儿童 文学翻译实践的翻译理论 本文将以英译汉为例 论证目的论在儿童文学翻译中 的运用 目的论是德国功能学派提出的翻译理论 该理论是对传统翻译理论的重大突 破 它不再局限在翻译的对等问题 而是认为译者可以做些适当的变通来满足目 标读者的需要 目的论要求译者在着手翻译之前首先明确译本目的 然后这一目 的要贯穿翻译过程的始终 翻译策略的选择全部以此目的为导向 而译文的目的 又主要取决于译文的目标读者 对于儿童文学翻译而言 除小部分成人读者外 儿童文学的目标读者主要是儿童 因其阅历有限 儿童的语言水平和接受能力处 于较低水平 目的论的一条重要法则 语内一致 要求译本至少要被目标读者 理解 因此 一个合格的译者首先最基本地要确保译作能为儿童所接受 儿童能 够接受什么样的作品 或者说什么样的作品能让儿童喜欢 这就需要对儿童的认 知能力和语言发展水平有所了解 本文作者在第三章中从心理学角度分析了儿童 的思维特点和语言发展水平 这为翻译策略的选择提供了依据 第四章是论文的 核心部分 作者以目的论为指导原则 对比分析了 爱丽丝奇境历险记 的两个 中译本 明确什么是较为适切的翻译
