在不同年级和不同性别的学生群体中的表现也有所不同 本研究的结果支持 了此前某些学者所持的一种观点 高强度的外语学习不但会影响学习者对母 语词汇的运用和句法表达的方式 而且还会在概念这一深层结构上对学习者 产生文化迁移作用 即在与其母语相关的文化观念方面产生影响 并进而对 其个体价值观念产生作用 研究也从另一个侧面表明 语言学习总是伴随着 文化价值观念的习得 因此 推广一种民族语言 el e 舭血g f i r s tl a l l g u a g e a 砒鹏n e s so fp r i v a c y 琢程u e n c e 中文文摘 在二语习得研究初期 人们的探索一直局限在母语对第二语言的影响上 而且大部分 研究者认为这种迁移是带有负面影响的 几十年来 语言学家对二语的研究开始转到二语 对母语的影响上来 对迁移的作用进行了重新解读 在最近几年 又有一些研究者把注意 力放在研究外语学习对母语的影响上 i s t v a nk e c s k e s 和t u n d ep a p p 就是一个很好的 例子 k e c s k e s p a p p 2 0 0 0 但他们的研究也仅局限于语言层面 对概念和与语言学 习紧密关联的文化价值观念层面的研究到目前为止还很少见诸报导 因此本研究试图通过 测量外语专业学生在不同年级外语学习阶段的隐私观念变化 考察一种语言 外语 的学 习是否导致学习者文化价值观念的变化 本研究将有助于我们更好地理解语言与思维之间 的关系以及s a p i r 和w h o r f s a p 也1 9 2 9 w h o 西1 9 4 0 所提出的语言决定论 我们的研究结 果表明外语学习对学习者的母语文化概念产生了影响 这种影响表现在私人信息 私人活 动和私人空问等三个方面 文章由三部分组成 第一章对与本研究相关学科的理论进行了回顾 首先从人类学 和社会学的角度 考察了语言与文化的关系并对文化的一些特征进行阐述 由于语言的作 用 文化具有了传承性 广泛性 后天性及指导性等特征 本章接着讨论了文化与行为的 关系 生活在特定社会文化中的人们的行为方式或多或少会有些不同 这主要是由他们所 处的文化决定的 其次是文化与思维的关系 文化对人们的思维有相当重要的影响作用 众多的研究表明语言对人们的思维有很重要的影响力 但不是决定因素 从语用学角度来 看 关联理论要求会话参与者将文化信息在交流时转化成为文化意识 在交谈中作为必要 的交流背景 在语言学习领域 特别是在二语对母语的影响方面 近年来人们也提出了多 种假设 并在实验中加以验证 对本研究有很大的启发意义 这些研究包括对双语表征的 讨论 对母语词汇多样化变化的探索 对母语表述能力的研究等 因而我们认为在外语学 习的研究上也应该重视其对母语的影响 i s t v 锄k e c s k e s 和t n n d ep a p p 提出了 高强度的外语学习能够使学习者达到接近 双语能力 的说法 并在实验中加以证明 他们通过对三组匈牙利的学生的外语学习情况 进行了纵向的研究 通过对学生在从句使用上的四个指数进行了计算 得出的结论是外语 学习能在语言的风格及计划性等方面促进母语的学习 并且在语用层面产生一定的影响 所有这些研究为我们的研究提供了理论依据 结合v i v i a f l k 等人提出的双语表征模型 m 我们认为高强度的外语学习能够在学习者的隐私意识层面产生影响 第二章报告了本研究的设计和结果 本校1 5 8 名外语专业的学生参加了测试 其中大 学一年级学生4 3 人 5 人男生 大学二年级3 9 人 4 人男生 大学三年级3 9 人 男生 4 人 大学四年级3 7 人 男生2 人 本实验采用问卷调查的方式 对学生的隐私意识 进行了调查统计 研究数据采用s p s s1 1 0 进行分析 单因素方差分析和t 检验的结果 表明 学生的隐私意识在年级 性别 城乡等变量间存在显著差异 第三章讨论了问卷调查的结果 本研究的结果似乎和我们的假设相符 使我们在外语 学习对母语的影响方面有了迸一步的了解 我们发现 第一 隐私意识在年级上部分地表 现出显著差异 这证实了学生对英语文化的摄入越多 就越容易影响到他们母语文化的观 念 第二 我们发现男女生之间在隐私意识上也存在显著差异 这表明男生与女生在接受 西方文化时的反应是不同的 结果是产生影响的幅度不同 这可能与个性差异及传统观念 对人们意识的作用有关 第三 隐私意识在城乡之间似乎没有太大的差异 其中只有一个 因子有显著差异 似乎表明城乡之间在对新观念的接受上趋于同步 原因可能是改革开放 以来 农村的信息建设得到了很大的发展 使来自农村的学生在观念的更新方面和城市的
