1 .(1)The fight against air pollution With the development of our economy, more and more factories are built. At the same time, air pollution that most people have ignored is gradually at a risk. In the modern days, wherever you go, you can see regions that have been seriously polluted by harmful smog. For example, the blue sky that we have ever seen now has changed its color and become darker. In addition, some areas have caused strange disease due to some poisonous air. What is worse, a large amount of forests have gradually disappeared as the acid rain shows up which cause by the air pollution indirectly. Therefore, lead up to people, our government has reckoned with the serious situation. Firstly, they order some small and polluted factories close down in force or make some less-polluted ones modernized. Secondly, they take some measures to move some factories out of the region. Thirdly, then also offer lots of advanced technical to more and more factories. On the other hand, they also call on people to plant more threes, so that the air pollution may be solved step by step. In all, facing the fact that the environment is getting better, people are happy with the measures taken by the government. If everyone makes contributions to it, the world will become more and more beautiful. (2)The fight against air pollutionAir pollution has become a serious problem in recent years. There are a lot of causes. first of all, is the chemical noxious gases emission. We all know that there are a lot of of factories around the world, they are actually emitting such gases everyday. The second one is the sharp decrease of the forests. Forest is very important to our Eco-system, it can adjust the heat and balance the air. The third one is the urbanization. People tend to stay in the city where is actually an abnormal Eco-system. Many cities do not have a complete system of controlling the air pollution. In order to solve such problems, I have some ideas. First of all is to control the emission of noxious gases. A set of necessary standards is required. It is not allowed to emit some particular gases until they have been transferred to another kind of chemical substance that is harmless to environment. Second one is planting more trees. We have cut down a lot of trees. It does have side effect on the quality of air. By planting more trees, many environment problems can be solved rather than air pollution only. (3)The fight against air pollution As is known to us all, that with the development of economy and society, the problem of air pollution becomes more and more serious. Especially, harmful smog polluted the region seriously .This phenomenon caused peoples attention and they spent more energy on fighting against air pollution. Some effective actions had been taken, some factories were closed down while others were moved out of the region .In addition, a lot of trees had been planted on hills, fields and so on. The government was truly playing an important role in the fight against air pollution. If not, can it really be succeed only depends on several folk organizations or different sorts of environmental protection associations, even persons? Seeing the obviously changes on the surrounding, breathing more comfortable than ever, people feel pleasant after that, of course, the key thing is to thank for the governments measures which encouraged people to support the government so as to reduce the source of air pollution. In conclusion, both of the government, citizen and the factories moved out make a contribution to protect air environment from polluting serious again.4. What will you do to get well prepared for an earthquake?If an earthquake hits, the first priority is to secure an exit - open the door. If by any chance the doorframe twists, you could end up trapped behind a closed door. Next, take cover - under a desk or table is best, or other heavy furniture, but failing that look for a place that is up by a supporting pillar or wall, and well clear of any sources of falling glass or debris (high shelves, light fittings, windows, etc.) Stay there until the all-clear is given. Cover your nose and mouth with a towel or your sleeve to protect against dust and particles - once outside, stay clear of buildings as aftershocks could cause glass, tiles, etc. to fall. Make your way to an evacuation point and wait for further instructions. In terms of general preparedness, have an emergency bag in an accessible place - it should contain, at a minimum, your important documents (passport, bank book, insurance certificates, etc.), a torch, bottled water and some non-perishable food that doesnt need cooking. Items such as a small first-aid kit and a space blanket are also useful. Prepare your living or working space - dont store heavy or sharp items above head height. Make sure top-heavy or tall pieces of furniture are secured to the wall. Make sure you have a clear path to the exit. A small fire extinguisher or fire blanket are useful to have. Check that your gas supply has an automatic shut-off. Make sure you know where your nearest evacuation point is - most often they are in front of schools or other public buildings - and that you know more than one route to get there (in case one route is blocked by fire or fallen debris).6. What is your opinion of cloning human beings?At this point in time I would tend to be against human cloning, but only because we havent sufficiently developed the technology yet, and the clone is likely to have a lot of genetic defects (which can lead to genetic diseases and/or other health issues) and shortened telomeres (which would result in premature aging). However once the technology has matured, I see no reason to prohibit or ban it. A clone would be just like any other human. It would be like having an identical twin, that just happened to be born a few decades after you were. :-) It should be noted that a lot of a persons personality, beliefs, outlook, etc. are the result of the experiences they have and the environment they grow up in. So a clone may be somewhat similar to the original in terms of personality and beliefs, but their unique experiences growing up would ensure that they would differ on a number of traits. Mentally, they would _not_ be identical to the original. Which then begs the question, what would be the purpose in creating a clone of yourself? There is possibly one use I could think of (besides vanity). And that would be as a source for replacement organs. Obviously for this to be in any way remotely ethical, youd have to find a way to create the clone without a brain-a body with no trace of personhood. Even then though, by the time weve gotten human cloning down pat, we should also be able to clone (or construct) individual organs. So theres not all that much use for human cloning, aside from maybe research purposes. But again, I dont think thats a reason to ban it. Our lives are full of useless tech, whats a little more?opinion 2:IF there were a way to clone people with no negative health effects for either the person OR the clone, and there were a reasonable reason to clone people, and the clones would be treated with the same rights as any human, THEN i would say it would be ok. If a person were correctly cloned then it would safe to assume the brain would be the same, so the clone would have human emotions/thoughts. It would be very impotent that the clone be treated as any human so that no pain would be caused, because they would be aware, Intelligent living people. opinion 3:Are you drawing distinction between human Cloning and Genetic engineering? because Genetic Engineering would allow us to irradiate every type of genetic disease and defect but for cloning the present time I would say no, currently not enough is understood about genetics to make it safe, but in the future when we completely understand the implications of what we are doing then yes God may have made us all unique but whoever said that was the best way to be? with cloning you could destroy all of humanities bad faults and come up with a completely efficient society, but you would need a higher authority to choose what those required qualities would be and for the first couple of generations that would be a very hard thing to deal with 三个观点可任选一个5.
