A Birthday by Christina RosettiMy heart is like a singing birdWhose nest is in a waterd shoot; My heart is like an apple-treeWhose boughs are bent with thick-set fruit; My heart is like a rainbow shellThat paddles in a halcyon sea;My heart is gladder than all these,Because my love is come to me.Raise me a das of silk and down;Hang it with vair and purple dyes;Carve it in doves and pomegranates,And peacocks with a hundred eyes;Work it in gold and silver grapes,In leaves and silver fleurs-de-lys;Because the birthday of my lifeIs come, my love is come to me. A BirthdayMy heart is like a singing bird Whose nest is in a watered shoot; My heart is like an apple tree Whose boughs are bent with thickset fruit; My heart is like a rainbow shell That paddles in a halcyon sea; My heart is gladder than all these 我的心比这些还更欢畅 Because my love is coming to me. Raise me a dais of silk and down; 为我造一座丝绒的讲坛Hang it with vair and purple dyes; Carve it with doves and pomegranates And peacocks with a hundred eyes; Work it in gold and silver grapes, In leaves and silver fleurs-de-lys; Because the birthday of my life is coming, My love is coming to me. My heart is like a singing birdWhose nest is in a waterd shoot; My heart is like an apple treeWhose boughs are bent with thick-set fruitA Birthday2009-09-26 09:55:03阅读(39) 评论(0)系统分类:文化 个人分类:翻译作品 关键词: ABIRTHDAYA BirthdayChristina Rossetti 1 My heart is like a singing bird2 Whose nest is in a waterd shoot;3 My heart is like an apple-tree4 Whose boughs are bent with thickset fruit;5 My heart is like a rainbow shell6 That paddles in a halcyon sea;7 My heart is gladder than all these8 Because my love is come to me.9 Raise me a dais of silk and down;10 Hang it with vair and purple dyes;11 Carve it in doves and pomegranates,12 And peacocks with a hundred eyes;13 Work it in gold and silver grapes,14 In leaves and silver fleurs-de-lys;15 Because the birthday of my life16 Is come, my love is come to me. 1.my love is come to meMy heart is like a singing birdWhose nest is in a watered shoot; My heart is like an apple treeWhose boughs are bent with thick-set fruit; My heart is like a rainbow shellThat paddles in a halcyon sea;My heart is gladder than all theseBecause my love is come to me. 2Remember Me When I am Gone AwayRemember me when I am gone away,Gone far away into the silent land; When you can no more hold me by the hand,Nor I half turn to go, yet turning stay.Remember me when no more day by dayYou tell me of our future that you planned:Only remember me; you understandIt will be late to counsel then or pray.Yet if you should forget me for a whileAnd afterwards remember, do not grieve:For if the darkness and corruption leaveA vestige of the thoughts that once I had,Better by far you should forget and smileThan that you should remember and be sad想念请想念我吧,当我已经不在不在这里,在远方,寂静的田园。 8.When I Am Dead, My Dearest-Christina G. Rossetti2010-06-13 14:10:06When I am dead, my dearest,Sing no sad songs for me;Plant thou no roses at my head,Nor shady cypress tree:Be the green grass above meWith showers and dewdrps wet:And if thou wilt, remember,And if thou wilt, forgetI shall not see the shadows,I shall not see the rain;I sahll not hear the nightingleSing on as if in pain:And dreaming through the twilightThat doth not rise nor set,Haply I amy remember,And haply I may forget.Christina Rossetti was born on the 5th December 1830 in London. She was educated at home by her mother.Their father, Gabriele Rossetti, was an IItalian poet and a refugee from Naples, their mother Frances Polidori was the sister of Lord Byrons friend and physician, John William Polidori, author of The Vampyre.
