It introduces some famous philosophers and great inventions. Writing is the sixth period of this module following reading and listening, so it can deepen the understanding of this module. According to the New Standard Curriculum, we should enable the students to express their views on things or people.Key points: How to get the students to grasp the writing structure of contrast essays and write an essay according to the template.Difficult points: How to encourage the students to express their opinions and debate.Analysis of the students :As we know , the Senior 1 students have great interest in this topic .They have desire to express themselves. But their English level is not very high. So they may have difficulty writing contrast essays and havent formed certain patterns.Teaching aimsKnowledge aim: 1.
