They were tall、big and strong. Some dinosaurs ran very fast. Some only walked slowly.Some could fly. Some dinosaurs ate grass and plants.And some ate meat.3.学习过去事件的表达,学习动词过去时态的用法:livelived , runran, walkwalked , eat.ate .4.学习关于恐龙的一些知识。能力目标:1.能够听、说、认读三会的单词和短语:2.能够听、说、认读三会的句子: 3.能够正确的掌握以下动词的过去式:livelived , runran, walkwalked , eat.ate .德育目标:通过学习增强学生爱护环境,保护环境的意识,教育学生能从自己身边的每一件小事做起,做环保小卫士。教学重点:掌握课文中动词的过去式。教学难点:能够运用动词的过去式对恐龙进行描述。教学准备:与教学内容相关的课件;录音机和录音带。教学过程:Step1.Warmup The teacher says: Good moring,boys and girls. Whats the weather like today?Ss:Its sunny.T: What a sunny day! Shall we have a social studies?Ss:Good idea.T: First lets go to the zoo. Please guess what animal is this?(出示课件,随着学生们边猜边放,并且把相关的动词做成红色的。如:big,strong, tall, ran, walk, and fly.教师口头描述这些动物时将相关的动词进行表演,给学生以直观的感受,同时让学生跟着教师把相关的词语进行重复。)1. Its big and strong. It has long nose and big ears. What is it?2. Its very tall. It has a long neck and long legs. What is it?3. It runs very fast.It eats grass and plants. It can help people to carry many things. What is it?4. It lives in the forest. Its yellow and black. It eats meat.What is it?5. It black and white. Its big and fat. It walks slowly. 6. Its white. It looks like a goose,but it can fly.What is it?(设计意图:通过这一猜动物的游戏环节,活跃了课堂气氛,调动其学生求知的积极性,拉近师生之间的距离,促进师生互动,增强学生运用英语的能力,同时发掘学生已经掌握的动词,揭示出几个新的词语如:live, fast, slowly,让学生通过老师的体态语言以及相关语境对这几个新词进行初步的掌握,为新课的呈现扫清词语障碍。)Step2. Presentation1.T: What lovely animals they are! Now Ill take you to see another interesting animals. These animals are called dinosaurs. (出示课件)Teach the new word“dinosaur”.(设计意图:在进行社会实践这一任务的引领下呈现出新课来,使得课堂教学过程流畅、自然。)2Let me tell you something about dinosaurs.(1)T:When did dinosaurs live? 教师重复“live”,再让学生跟读,直到学会。 T: Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. (在课件中将 lived一词做成红色,加强学生的感官印象。)Have the students to learn and say this sentence.(2)T:What was the dinosaurs like? Were they small?Ss:No.S1: They were big.S2: They were strong.S3:They were tall.T:YHow clever you are! Dinosaurs were huge animals. They were tall、big and strong.Ask the students to learn these sentences and act them out using their bodies. (设计意图:通过提问引发学生的发散思维,让学生将已有的词汇来试着回答新的问题,锻炼学生运用语言的能力。让学生边说边做动作,既生动有趣又有利于他们对句子的快速掌握。) (3)教师边做动作边说:“Some dinosaurs ran very fast. ”Teach the word “ran”.Practise the sentence. “Some only walked slowly.” Practise the sentence. Teach the word “walked”. “Some could fly. ”Practise the sentence. Teach the word “could”.Ask the students to practice these sentences with their parterns,and then check it out.(设计意图:通过教师边做动作边教授,加之前面复习阶段的铺垫,学生很容易的就会掌握这些新的句子。先单句的机械训练,在小段的练习,为学生设计出阶梯来,便于学生的学习。)(4)T:What did dinosaurs eat? S1:Grass. S2:Meat. T: Good job!“Some dinosaurs ate grass and plants.And some ate meat.”Have the students to say the word“ate ”,and the practice the sentences in pairs.Check it out. (5)Play the tape,let the students to read after the tape twice.Step3.Practise.1.Listen and touch. “tall、big and strong,ran very fast,walked slowly, could fly, ate grass and plants, ate meat”把学生们分成三组,每组每次出一名代表,由学生说出黑板上的短语,看谁摸的有准又快,就为本组得到一个小恐龙,数量最多的为赢。)(设计意图:通过小竞赛缓解了学生学习的疲倦感,活跃了课堂气氛,也再次强化并巩固所学的新知识。)2给学生一些时间,让学生们在课件及黑板上短语的帮助下,小组内对恐龙进行描述。Step4. Homework1. 尝试着对恐龙进行描述。2. 搜集并整理一些恐龙详细的资料如图片、名称、年代、所吃的食物等,下节课讲给大家听。教学反思:本课的主要任务是学习恐龙,同时学习一些动词的过去式。本文中设计的动词数量较多,如果上来就学的话,又要学动词,又要学该动词的过去式,学生一时会很难接受。所以我在复习一环中设计了猜动物的游戏。通过这一活动既帮助学生回忆了一些已学过的动词,还学习了几个本
