Five-finger Teaching Plan 五指教学方案Step 1 Review 第一步 复习(时间:10分钟)1. (检查作业,教师让两名同学复述英式英语和美式英语的发音、拼写和表达方面的不同,巩固上节课所学内容。)T: I will ask one student to retell us the differences between British English and American English.S1: Let me try. Though written English is very similar between Britain and America. Oral English is quite different. Generally speaking, American English is different from British English in pronunciation, spelling and expression. But people from the two countries do not have much difficulty in understanding each other. T: Thats very great. You know the differences clearly. Now who can tell us how did these differences come about?S2: I know, long ago many British people were forced to leave their country. They brought the English language to other countries, like America, Australia and Canada. So the language changed little by little from one part of the world to another and the English language has changed and continues to change. T: Great. You learned a lot. But sometimes a few students want to sleep in my class. In another way of saying, at times a few students feel sleepy. (板书)at times = sometimessleep(v) sleepy(adj)T: Can they study English well?Ss: No. T: Maybe they arent interested in English. But I think you cant give up learning English. T: But they dont know which tapes they should listen to. (听1a录音,回答下列问题,然后核对答案。)(板书)What difficulties did Wang Junfeng meet in America? (核对答案)(1)He couldnt make himself understood in the U. S. A. (2)He couldnt have long conversations with people there. 2. (再听1a录音, 回答下列问题, 教师出示小黑板。)(1)Whats Li Mings trouble?(2)Whats Li Xiangs trouble?(学生回答, 教师重复学生答案,并纠正。)3. (让学生找出对话中的重点短语。)(板书)I dont know what to do.I feel like giving up.4. (分组活动, 让学生认真阅读对话,完成1b。)Step 3 Consolidation 第三步 巩固(时间:10分钟)1. (教师给学生2-3分钟时间准备, 让学生分角色表演, 三个人一组, 到黑板前面来表演1a。)T: Now, its time to act out the dialog. First, Ill ask a group to come to the blackboard. Are you ready?Ss: Yes. (尽量多找几组同学表演, 了解学生对1a的掌握情况。)2. (教师找几名同学复述课文,可给出一些关键词, 加深对所学知识的印象。)Step 4 Practice 第四步 练习(时间:10分钟)1. T:Wang JunFeng, Li Ming and Li Xiang have some difficulties in studying English. How can they study English well? Can you help them?S1: They can take part in the English corner. S2: They can copy new words in a notebook.S3: They can keep a diary.S4: They can buy a grammar book.S5: (教师解释并领读生词copy, diary, grammar。)2. (听2的录音, 连线, 核对答案。)(两人一组根据2录音内容, 做对话。)S6: I forget new words easily. S7: You can copy new words in a notebook. S6: I cant pronounce well. S7: You can listen to the tape. S6: I am not good at grammar. S7: You can buy a grammar book. S6: I am not good at writing compositions. S7: You can keep a diary. 3. (分组活动。完成3。)A:For example: If you cant spell a word in English, you should say I dont know how to spell that in English. (完成搭配, 两人一组一问一答,教师核对答案。)B:(教师让两人一组利用A部分所给的句子对话。)For example:S1: Excuse me. Could you tell me where the post office is?S2: Im sorry, I cant follow you. Can you speak more slowly?(让同学两人一组做更多的对话,加深对特殊疑问词+to do这个语法的运用。)4. 复习疑问词+to do sth.。 (找学生造句。)For example:(1) Could you tell me where you are going? Could you tell me where to go? (2) I dont know how I learn English well. (3) He doesnt know which one he buys. (4) They wonder if they are going there. (5) He is thinking whether he is going abroad or not. (6) I dont know what time they will start.Step 5 Project 第五步 综合探究活动(时间:10分钟)1. (学生做调查报告,并向全班汇报。)T: Make a survey of your classmates and fill in the chart. Then report it to your class. You can ask and answer like this. For example:S1: What difficulties do you have in your English study?S2: I dont know how to write compositions well. NameDifficulty(教师向学生呈现表格形式,让学生完成表格。)T: You can report it to the class like this:Li Leis difficulty is that he doesnt know how to pronounce well, and Wang juns difficulty is that he doesnt know how to write composition well 2. Homework:T: Discuss the following questions with your partner, then write a short passage.
