让“任务” 来帮忙! “任务型”教学方法要求教师根据课程的总体目标并结合教学内容,创造性地设计贴近学生实际的教学活动,学生在完成任务的活动中,使用英语获取信息,利用信息, 用英语与他人交流, 解决实际问题, 实现“做中学”。 任务型教学模式可以有效地培养、提高学生的语言运用能力,增强综合素质。以教材 Go for it! 中 Im going to be a basketball player 一课为例,我设计如下: Unit 10 Im going to be a basketball player教学目标:本课教学目标是学会谈论自己理想中的职业,以及如何实现这一目标。须掌握一些有关职业的单词如:writer teacher worker professor coach等等。并学会用句型如:What are you going to be when you grow up? Im going to be a/an等进行会话。教学重点:学生在各项课堂活动中学会与他人交流自己将来所从事的职业。教学难点:本课中谈论“如何实现自己的理想职业”是学生学习的难点。教学策略:基于课程改革的理念 及“第二语言习得论”和“整体语言教学”理论, 运用任务型教学途径, 围绕核心任务,设定小任务,开展促进自主性学习的课堂活动,强调合作探究与独立思考相结合,设计如下: Step1: task1 name the famous stars and give their jobs 在 Unit9 中我们认识了一些名人如:Dengyaping is a great Chinese Ping-pang player, Beckeham is an excellent football player, and Liyundi is a talented pianist.出示其他名人图片并引导学生说出他们的职业如:Jack Chen is a famous actor. Yao Ming is one of the best basketball players. Shuijunyi is a popular reporter. Einstein is a great scientist. Bill Gates is a talented computer programmer, and he is very rich. 通过这一任务学生看到他们所熟悉的明星情绪马上高涨,激发了学生的学习兴趣,他们迅速投入学习环境Step2: task2 speak out some other jobs 让大量学生站起来说出他们知道或喜欢的职业如:writer, teacher, worker, professor, coach 在这一环节中给尽可能多的学生站起来的机会,帮助他们积极参与各个环节。Step3: task3 play a game- please guess what my job is. 教师说出几个描述不同工作的句子,学生根据描述猜测所指职业如:(a) - I always interview some people and ask them some questions, maybe you can see me on the TV show.- You are a reporter! (b) -Sometimes I am very beautiful, sometimes Im very ugly, sometimes Im very poor, but sometimes Im very rich. I often perform on a stage. - You are an actor.(c) - My job is very interesting, but a little dangerous. Thieves dont like me.- You are a police officer.通过这一任务帮助学生进一步了解这些职业,激活以前所学知识,同时也锻炼了学生的听力,为下面的听力练习做好“热身”。Step4:task4 pair-work- make a dialogue with the new sentence pattern.教师通过提问一两个学生引出基本句型:-What are you going to be when you grow up, Lucy?- Im going to be a/an. (S6) (show the sentence pattern )- Im going to be a/an . (call several Ss)-What are you going to be when you grow up, Alice?- Im going to be a/an- How are you going to do that?- Im going to. (Call some Ss)Ok, pairwork ( give the structure of the dialogue)学生准备完毕后,分小组展示。通过练习学生能用简单的基本句型和他人谈论自己将来想从事的职业。初步掌握这一教学内容。Step5: task5 listen and try to fill in the blank,then talk about the form(pair-work)。 What He is going to be an actor.WhereHe is going to move to New York.HowHe is going to take acting lessons.WhenHe is going to finish high school and college first.完成听力后教师组织学生核对答案,然后根据这一表格学生之间谈论他人理想中的职业,通过此活动学生练习了听力同时更加熟悉、灵活的运用所学新内容,也为下一任务作个铺垫。Step6: task6 deal with a short passage1 Open your books,listen and underline the actions TianTian is going to do. (小声跟读磁带)学生找出答案并核对: (9 Ss) move somewhere interestingfind a part-time jobsave some moneybe a student at an art schoolstudy Frenchhold are exhibitionbuy a big housetravel all over the worldretire somewhere quiet and beautiful2 True or False (1)What kind of reporter is TianTian going to be?A he is going to be a reporter for a newspaper.B he is going to be a reporter for a TV station.C he is going to be a reporter for a fashion magazine.(2) What is she going to do first? Retell the story. (call 4 Ss) 在这一步骤中有分了4个小任务,主要是帮助学生更好的理解这一段文章,有简到难,层层递进,学生根据图表提示复述,既理解了课文又运用了所学句型并且有条理的组织了语言。Step7 task7 According to step6, give us a short passage about your dream job。教学的最终目的是表达和交流,模仿课文学生有理有序的说出一段话而并不仅仅停留在简单的基本句型这一层面,实现了综合语言运用能力的提升,达到了教学目的。Step8 Homework Please write down something about your dream job! 通过写作,进一步加深学生本课所学的理解,加强学生的综合语言运用能力,并巩固所学。教学反思: 本节课由简到难,层层递进, 便于学生接受。期间以生生合作、或师生互动等形式
