What is the hot ice-cream scoop used for?Its used for serving really cold ice-cream. Competition.Review how to say the years in English Two. Lead-inTeacher draws a simple picture of a telephone on the blackboard,at the same time.Teacher asks: What is this? Students answer:Its a telephone.Teacher says:Its an invention.Teacher asks: When was it invented? Three. Showing the Learning Objects.Four. Target language presentation and practice(Individual and pairwork) eg. Bell invented the telephone. The telephone was invented by Bell. Who was the telephone invented by? It was invented by Bell. When was the telephone invented? It was invented in 1857. What is the telephone used for? It is used for talking with people.Five. Groupwork.Show some pictures , give some information about inventions, let the students practice asking and answering about the history and usages of the inventions.Six. Listening practice.Before listening, lead the students read and understand some new words, then let them have a prediction, while listening ask them to catch some information about the invention, after listening ask them to say something about the inventions.Seven. Oral practice.Encourage the students to say something about the inventions in China using the target languages they learned.Encourage the student to study hard, in order to be an inventor in the future. And be proud of Chinese.Eight. Students will share what they learned in this class.Nine. Test.Do some ex
