Unit 4 Road safety (Period 2)Grammar time &Fun time1、 教学目标1.知识目标(1)能正确地听说读写单词road, must, safe,follow,light.(2)能正确地听说读写词汇safety, cross, safely, zebra crossing, pavement, look out for, eadily, rule, stay.(3)能正确地听说读写句型You must. You must not.(4)能熟练地运用所学日常交际用语与他人进行交流。2.技能目标 能熟练地运用日常交际用语及句型I must. I must not.谈论自己该做和不该做的事。3. 情感目标 培养学生养成遵守不同场所规则的意识。2、 教学重难点 1.能自如地运用所学交际用语,谈论自己该做何不该做的事。 2.能根据不同的语境恰当地使用can, 和must.3、 教学过程Step 1 Warm up1.Greetings2.Free talk What day is today ? What time did you get up this morning ? What time did you go to school? How did you go to school? What rules must you follow on the road ?Step 2 Revise1. Play a game 通过语音和图片相结合的形式呈现相关交通规则,学生进行判断,对的回答“Yes, yes, yes”, 错误则回答“No, no, no.”,以此来复习Story time相关规则。2. Lets read 针对活动一所呈现的相关规则,让学生齐读,以加深印象,确保在下一环节中能较好地理解运用。Step 3 Presentation1.Must用法教学 (1)Must用法呈现T: What must you (not) do on the road ?Ss: (学生结合第一课时Story time回答。)We must. We mustnt.呈现:What must you (not) do on the road? We must look for a zebra crossing. We must look at the traffic lights and wait for the green man. We must look left and right. We mustnt play football on the road. We mustnt run or play on the road.T:Read them and feel the using of “must and mustnt”.(学生齐读所呈现的句型,并根据提示感知must, mustnt的用法)Ss: 自由回答。教师呈现用法“must + 动词原形,表示必须;mustnt+动词原形,表示禁止。mustnt = must not”, 学生齐读。(2)must用法操练(Fun time)T: Lets play a game: “To be a policeman” First, lets watch the rules.(观看Fun time教学动画,让学生明确规则。) 呈现活动规则Tips:1.4-5人一组; 2.选其中一人为警察;3.警察提问并指定其中一人回答,如正确 ,其他人则回答“Right.”错误则进行更正。 4.确保每人都能回答,回答内容不重复。)学生根据规则组织活动。学生展示活动。2.Can教学用法呈现 T:Can you say some suggestions about crossing the road safely ? How can we cross the road safely? Ss: 学生自由回答。 教师PPT呈现:How can we cross the road safely? We can look out for cars and bikes. We can cross the road with other people. We can wait on the pavement. We cant cross the road here. T: Lets read them together. Can you find the using of “can, cant”?学生交流讨论can, cant的用法。教师呈现can用法:can + 动词原形,表示可以,能;cant+动词原形,表示不能,不可以。 cant = cannot= can not学生齐读用法。3.Can, must 用法比较 (1)PPT呈现:What must you (not) do on the road? We must look for a zebra crossing. We must look at the traffic lights and wait for the green man. We must look left and right. We mustnt play football on the road. We mustnt run or play on the road. How can we cross the road safely? We can look out for cars and bikes. We can cross the road with other people. We can wait on the pavement. We cant cross the road here.教师根据must, can的语气强弱,带领学生跟读。学生讨论交流,感知can, must的用法区别。教师呈现用法区别并领学生读:must“必须” mustnt表示说话人“不许”和“禁止” 某人做某事,有很强的劝告语气。can表示有能力或有权利做某事。can, cant较must, mustnt 语气较弱。Step 4 Consolidation1.Read and circle(Checkout time) 学生根据语境,情境判断can, cant, must, mustnt用法。 检测答案。2.Lets fill 学生用can, cant, must, mustnt进行选词填空。 1.You_ keep quiet in the cinema when you watch a film.2.If you_ find a zebra crossing near you, you_ wait on the pavement.3._ you play football? Yes, I_. But you_ play it on the road.4._ I go to school today ?Yes , you _. Its Thursday.5.Im thirsty. _ I have some cola ? No, you _, but you _ have some juice.6.Here is the red man. We _ stop and wait.检测答案Step 5 Emotion T: On the road, we should follow the traffic rules. But different places have different rules.For example, the library rules, the restaurant rules, the hospital rules, the class room rules and so on.
