Unit 1 Whats he like?单元内容分析一、内容:PEP小学五年级英语上册unit1 Whats he like?二、课程标准1.能听、说、读、写本单元的四会单词 ;2.会运用本单元主要句;3.初步认识陈述句和问句;4.有兴趣听英语,说英语,背歌谣,唱歌曲,讲故事,做游戏等。三、内容分析本单元重点学习人物体貌特征和个性语言,重点学习的句型是:Whos your art teacher? Whats he like? Is she ? Yes, she is /No, she isnt.这单元主要描写的人物体貌特征,所以我们可以让孩子对所认识的老师进行描述。四、学情分析五年级学生多,他们聪明活泼、勤奋好学,这些学生英语基础较好,他们对英语感到好奇,而且都有着十分浓厚的兴趣。因此,我确立的学习目标如下:五、学习目标1.能力目标: (1) 能够简单描述自己教师的体貌特征及性格特点,如:We have a new English teacher. Hes tall and strong. Hes very funny. (2) 能够询问并介绍学校里教师的情况,如:Whos your English teacher? Mr Ding.Hes from China. Whats he like? Hes tall and strong. (3) 能够听懂一些描述人物特征的简单对话,完成学生用书中的Lets try 部分。X k B 1 . c o m(4) 能够听懂、会唱歌曲“My New Teacher”.能够灵活替换歌词中的科目及表示人物特征的形容词。 2.知识目标 (1) 理解A、B部分Read and write 中的会话,并根据提示填充句子或回答问题。 (2) 听、说、读、写A、B部分Lets learn 和Read and write 中的四会单词和句子。 (3) 理解Lets start、Lets find out、Lets sing、Lets chant 和Pair work 等部分的内容。 (4) 了解Pronunciation部分的字母组合在单词中的发音,并能熟练读出例词。 (5) 了解Task time 、Story time、Good to know等部分的内容。 3.情感、策略、文化等有关目标: (1) 情感态度:根据小学高年级阶段学生的特点,引导他们在英语学习过程中更大限度发挥自主学习能力,积极主动地进行英语学习,更好地激发他们英语学习的兴趣。 (2) 学习策略:学习过程中注意培养学生合作学习的态度和方法,有效利用学生用书中设计的Pair work 、Group work、Talk and draw 以及Task time部分,培养学生合作学习的意识。 (3) 文化目标:了解中西方国家在称呼人名上的不同习惯。六、单元教学课时安排 :Lesson 1:A Main scene, Part A Lets try & Lets talkLesson 2:A Lets learnLesson 3:A Lets spellLesson 4:B Lets try Lets talk C Task timeLesson 5:B Read and write Lesson 6:B Lets check Lets wrap it up C Story time. 第一课时教学内容:Main scene, Part A Lets try & Lets talk教学目标:1. 能够正确听说朗读 Whos.? He/ She is. Whats he/she like? He/ She is. Is he/ she? Yes, he/ she is. No, he/ she isnt. 等询问某人是谁,怎么样的相关交际用语.2.能够正确听说认读表示人物外貌与性格特征的形容词old, young, funny, kind, strict, polite, hard-working, clever.3.能够听懂会说会表演对话的内容并在真实情境中运用所学语言进行真实交流和运用.4. 在对话交流中使学生养成用英语交流的习惯,培养良好的语音语调和语感.教学重难点 重点:学生能够表演Main scene和对话的交际内容,能够根据实际情况用英语讨论人物. 难点:用英语准确询问并回答人物特征.教学准备: 课件, 卡片,录音机.教学过程:一、导入热身1. Lets look and say the names. 课件呈现一些图片, 让学生认读,这是谁,有什么外貌特征.2. Lets listen and sing: Who s your teacher?二、展示1. 学习Main scene (1) 出示主情景图,让学生观察Who? What are they talking about? (2) 看主情景图, 回答问题: Who? What are they talking about? (3) 听录音,模仿朗读. (4) 领读对话,学生模仿,齐读练习,生生对话,小组表演.三、精讲学习Lets try and lets talk (1) Listen and tick (2) 创设情境: 这节课让我们和Oliver, Wu Yifan一起去了解Mr Young, 播放课件,要求学生 边听边模仿. (3) 看对话部分图片,听录音,模仿朗读,理解意思. (4) 分角色朗读对话. (5) 分小组创编对话. A: Good morning/afternoon. Look! Our math teacher is very young. Hes tall and thin.B: This is our music teacher. Shes young. Shes very funny.A: Whos your art teacher? B: Mr Hu A: Whats he like? B: Hes short and thin!(6) 表演对话. 3. Make a survey 问答练习.小组合作完成调查表格.四、总结谈论某位教师的样子,可以用old,short thin,tall,strong, young, funny, kind等来形容。例如Who is he? He is My new Chinese teacher.He is tall and strong. Is he funny? Yes, he is.五、拓展活动1. Sing a song: Whos your teacher? 2. Show pictures and say. 快速读出学科教师的名称. Whos this man/ woman? He/ She is our二、展示1. Look and guess.看图片,猜一猜教师是什么性格?2. 展示词汇图片, 快速让学生说出是Mr还是Miss. 内容拓展:Mr Miss Mrs Ms3. Look at the pictures and say. 看图说句子.如: Mr Young is our music teacher. He is old.4. 学习新词汇. 巩固拓展可以采用自编歌谣, 如: This is Mr John. He is our new art teacher. He is strong, and he is funny. This is Miss Jones. She is our new music teacher. She is thin, and she is pretty.5. 播放课件, 两人一组选择图片讨论. Whos this man/ woman? He / She is is our teacher. She/ He is 6. 学习Ask and answer (1)Show a picture of their head teacher and talk about him or her with the students. Whos this? She is Miss Ding. Yes, she is our head teacher.(引出head teacher的学习) Whats she like? Shes kind. (2) 听录音,模仿朗读.三、精讲结合画有人物不同相貌特征的教学图片进行关键词的替换,引导学生联系所学的新词句型。A: Good morning/afternoon. Look! Our math teacher is very young. Revision some word二、展示Presentation1.单词及音标呈现(1)教师出示直观的图片,通过图片呈现单词baby/happy/sunny/windy/sorry.板书并带领学生认读单词。(2)请学生观察单词baby/happy/sunny/windy/sorry.并迅速找出它们的共同之处,教师教读单词发音并示范音标的正确书写,并让学生进行练习。 (3) 学习音标之后再回头读单词baby/happy/sunny/windy/sorry.把音标教学与单词教学相结合,有意识地让学生自己去发现单词中的发音规律.(4)师在黑板上写好单词,找学生书写音标,其他同学在练习本上练习 ,给时间让学生多写几个以达到学会的目的。教师在这一时间内要在学生中进行巡视,以便及时发现和纠正错误。三、巩固Practice 1. 听音训练:听录音并写出听出的单词。 2. 配对子:小组活动。教师发给每组一套自制卡片。每套卡片共6张,每张卡片上写有一个单词,让学生找出规律相同的单词配对。四、Production认读单词及音标,做配套练习或基础训练中的相关练习。板书设计:Unit 1 Whats he like?Lets spellbaby happy windy sunny sorry补充单词:candy many family party第四课时教学内容:B Lets try Lets talk Task tiime教学目标:1.能听懂、会说并认读本课时单词及词组polite, shy, helpful, hard-working, clever.2. 能听懂、会说句型Whats he like? Hes . 教具准备:教学光盘、单词卡片。教学重点:能够表演词汇课里的交际内容,能够根据交际情况用英语讨论人物.教学难点:用英语准确询问并回答人物特征.教学过程:一、导入1.听唱My new teacher . 2. Pair work Activity 1: Greeting each other.师: eg: How do you do?Glad to meet you.How are you?生:出示事先准备好的每人一张姓名卡片,挂于每位学生胸前。学生根据各自的胸卡,互相问候。(胸卡上印有Mr.或Miss.的字样)。二、展示1.用图画展示本校例会会议,认识出席的各科教师。 T: Whos that man /woman ?Whats he /she like ?引出(严肃)的principal 带读 ,展示(微笑的)principal 和带博士帽的university student的合影,让学生猜Whos he ? 引出新单词university student 带读 。 Practise : .is our principal. My father/mother is a university student . 2.最后比较两幅图画上的principal的表情。从kind引出新单词strict带读 Practise : My father is strict. My mother is kind. 3.Learn the words “smart active” in the same way. 三、精讲活动设计1 Bingo (class work) 活动设计2 让学生看老师表情来猜。 活动设计3 利用单词字母的拼写进行巩固。 听Lets learn 录音、模仿 四、总结本课出现的反义词组Activequiet kindstrict Principal校长 head teacher 班主任,也可指校长五、拓展活动Read and finish (读短文,完成文后练习)Hello, my name is Mark. He/ She is Whats he / she like? He/ She is. Is she / he? Yes , he / she is. No, he/ she isnt.等进行真实交际. 教学过程:一、导入1.Sing a song: Whos your teacher?2.I say you do3.Lets listen and chant.
