The education of serving women and their children I think many classmates will choose “education” as their topic .Maybe many classmates will pay more attention on school education, family education or something else. But I want to focus on the education of serving women and their children, which I think is more important . 2011 Public Ceremony was held on December 11th. Luo xiaoge, from Hunan Womans Center, was awarded because she has helped many serving women paint and build up their passion for life. This news has touched me a lot because we hardly put our attention on them. Maybe most people think they are bad . They made many big mistakes, so they should be punished. We seldom care about them. We dont know whether they lead a happy life or not. Therefore, when I knew this news, I was very moved. “ In Luo xiaoges eyes, art education is regarded as the heart and the soul of the cleaning agent. For long-term depression of serving women , they are not able to express in words of repentance and love, and has been a certain degree of ease pain and manic, dream in the heart to express.” Southern Metropolis Daily said. But in America, it seems that things are getting more and more serious. It was reported that the number of serving women was rose by 3.6% in 2003. Whats more, the total number of serving women exceeded 100,000 for the first time in history, which was 101,179. But in 1995,the number of serving women was just 68,000. So I think the American government should make more laws which can protect serving womens right.Although in China, the situation is not very good too, the government has taken measures to care more about serving women. “On October 24, 2011, the VII session of the national seminar on womens prison was held in Chengdu. 95 delegates from 35 womens prisons throughout the country focused on the theme of developments and breakthroughs , primarily aimed at serving womens mental health problems to psychological correction method and system for workshop.” As far as I am concerned, it is a good way to help them go though difficulties by themselves. They can learn not to give up , learn to be much happier and learn how to love themselves.In the meantime, I want to write something about their children. It seems that we seldom try our best to know more about their children. There was news reported in China. “At the end of 2005, there are 1.56 million detainees in the prison in China. Nearly 460,000 people had minor children of prisoners. And the number of prisoners minor children is more than 600,000.” I think it is a large number, which means in our society, the education of prisoners children is something we should not neglect. Their parents cannot accompany with them when they are very young. They cannot feel the love of their parents or even the whole society. They maybe have to drop out when they are at a very young age, which means they cannot get well education. They do not have much knowledge about the world. Maybe most of them think the color of the world is black and white, no other colorful things. When they meet with difficulties, they may give up easily because no one has taught them how to deal with problems. What more, they may do something harmful to society. It is reported that the rate of prisoners children is higher than society as minor crime. But their parents dont know they has become bad . If they live in poor and undeveloped areas, the situation becomes worse and worse.But such situation also exists in America, even worse and worse too. According to United States Bureau of justice statistics publications 2007, there were 809,800 prison parents and the number of their children was1,706,600. But the number might be a bit smaller because many parents did not want to reveal their children. However, many countries have made laws to protect them. For example, United Kingdom the Children Act, Germany The Children And Youth Assistance Act, Norway Child Welfare Measures. Some of the major countries in Europe and America, guardianship of minor children for prison personnel implemented is the official State or government responsibilities. They not only make laws, but also establish many welfare institutions. The local government has tried their best to give those children a sense of warm, just like their home. “But some developing countries also lack written legal protection for this issue. In developing countries such as Chinese economic and demographic power, survey shows 94.8% prisoners minor children are not subjected to any form of social assistance, 1.2% minor children of prisoners had embarked on a criminal career.” As we can see, our government has not made any practical laws to protect their right. If we dont take any useful actions right now, more and more children will not lead a life they expect. There is no doubt that China should learn something useful and practical from foreign countries, such as America, England, Norway and so on. In my opinions, our government are ought to make some helpful and practical laws and make the relevant laws and regulations perfect, which can really help those children and care about them. Experts pointed out that in Peoples Republic of China laws, the protections of minors and served are not covered. I hope that situation would not happen again. What is more, we should encourage social force to participate in the action to give those children warmth. Our society should encourage social organizations, private institutions or individuals to raise those children. Maybe only all of us devote our love
