Unit8 Birthdays (story time)学情分析:本课所谈论的话题是日常生活中学生既熟悉又感兴趣的。学生在五年级上册已经初步认识了“first second third”这三个序数词,本单元通过谈论学生的生日日期进一步系统学习序数词及它的构成规律,学生应该能很轻松的掌握。十二个月份的单词学生记忆起来有一定的难度,所以从上一单元节日的话题学习开始,我就以月份的名称为班内的各个学习小组命名,一直延续到本单元的学习,学生记忆月份单词效果明显。在谈论“What do you do on your birthday?”时,学生已经会说一些活动类的词组,我在课上利用多媒体将新旧词组进行整合,便于学生积累词汇。在兼顾学生听、说、读的能力培养的同时注重学生写的练习,如:写下听到生日歌想到的词汇、完成表格family card。学生的参与热情被激发,就会很好的完成学习任务。值得注意的是:要求所有学生在一单元的学习中掌握所有的月份单词和序数词是比较困难的,可以在以后的教学中循环呈现逐步巩固,如利用每天的daily report , free talk.教学目标:1.学生能够在图片、录音的帮助下理解单词:birthday together ;能听懂、会说、会读、会写birthday、April、game;读准单词:the (如on the eleventh of May).2.学生能够在语境中运用句子Whens your birthday ? Its on theof. What do you do on your birthday?I/We always/usually/often/sometimes. 询问生日的具体日期以及谈论在生日里所做的事情。3.学生能够根据ppt提示复述课文,达到学以致用的效果。4.通过这一话题的学习,使学生了解中西方文化中不同的生日风俗习惯,感受英语的生活化。5.通过family card,教育学生关注家人的生日,关爱家人。教学重点:学生能够在语境中运用句子Whens your birthday ?
