(Section B 3-4b P22 八年级 下册)二、教学设计思路:结合多媒体,利用图片、实物、简笔画等帮助学生记忆本节相关词汇;设置情境,帮助学生通过阅读及写作练习学会谈论过去某时正在发生的事情,能够学会讲故事,谈论学生身边常发生的事情,增强语言的真实实用性,即便于学生掌握和巩固基础知识。三、教学分析:(1) 教材分析:This is a reading class.In this class , students will learn to talk about the things that happened in the past,and learn to tell and write the stories. Activity 3 is a story about Linda and her dog.Students need to get the main idea of the story and retell the story.Activity 4a is a written part,the students learn to write a story.(2)学情分析:Retelling and writing the story should be the most difficult points for the students to master.四、教学目标:(一)知识目标1.Key vocabulary:train station ,run-ran, run away, anywhere,met,come in,happen, ride a bike, by the lake 在湖边, watch sb. doing sth.,steal (stole) v.偷,was stolen 被偷, be worried 着急,call the police,at once 马上 2.Key structures: be(waswere)+doing. 3.tell and write stories. (二)能力目标To train students abilities of telling the things that happened in the past.(三)情感目标1. Greetings and self-introduction.Greet the class and introduce the teacher herself.Step 2. Revision and presentations.Revise the past continous tense through talking about the pictures.Ask the ss to say something about the pictures.(presentations) Step3. New lesson:New words: train station ,run-ran, run away, anywhere,met,come in,happen, ride a bike, by the lake 在湖边, watch sb. doing sth.,steal (stole) v.偷,was stolen 被偷, be worried 着急,call the police,at once 马上 T:Look at the pictures.What was he doing?Ss(Teacher helps to answer):He was playing football.(ss talk about the pictures,using the past continuous tense.)T:(Next picture)What was he doing at 8 oclock?Ss:He was swimming.T:What were they doing at 10:00?Ss:They were running.T:What were they doing yesterday afternoon?Ss:(The ss talk freely.)T:Where were you at 6 oclock yesterday evening?And what were you doing?Ss:(Talk freely.)T:Look at the pictures.What did you do at 9 oclock last evening?What was Tom doing at the time?(Help the ss to answer)T:Attention here.It means that Tom was having breakfast when I went to school.Ss:(Look at the blackboard and repeat.)T:(Next pictures)What did you do last night?And what was she doing last night?Ss:(Help the ss to answer)T:It also means “She was playing the piano when I did my homework”.Ss: (Look at the blackboard and repeat.)T:(Next pictures.)What was he doing when they swam in the water?Ss:He was doing his homework? (Teacher helps the ss master to use and the past continous ten Step 3 Play the tape of 3 and let the students listen carefully.Then students answer the three easy questions.Step 4 Read 3 and then answer the five questions beside the text.Step 5 Some difficult points.Step 6 Underline the “when” and “while” sentences,and put them into Chinese.Step 7 The teacher tell the story and put the crafts on the blackboard.Step 8 The students retell the story. Iet 3 students retell it in class.Step 9 When we write a story,wed better use the key words,and we can ask answer some questions about the pictures ,and put the answers together,there may be a story.So answer the questions. How was the weather that day? How did Linda go to the park? What was the time? What was the girl doing? Where was her bike? What was the man doing while Linda was watching those people?What was the time when she found her bike was stolen (被偷)? What did she do? Step 10 Help the ss to ask and answer the questionsd.And write a story.Step 11 Ask some students read their stories.Step12 Make a dialogue between the thief and the policeman.T: Make a dialogue between the thief and the policeman.Ss:(Make a dialogue and act it out)Step 13 Summary:T: This class weve talked about the storiy about Linda and her dog. Weve learnt to tell and write stories. You are so clever!I have a possible version for you,read together. Summary:Today,we learn how to tell and write stories.Remember,we can use the key words to help us tell or write a story,also,we can ask and answer some questions to help us.If you are interested in joining all kinds of activities in class, youll make great progress.Step 14 HomeworkFinish off some exercises.八、设计意图:(1)通过对比谈论图片,加强对过去进行时的记忆和理解。(2)通过对Story One 的复述和Story Two 的写作,学会讲和写故事。九、教学阶段效果:学生如能一步一个脚印地完成好每个步骤,掌握得应该不错。十、教学反思1通过本课的教学活动和教学实践,我深刻地体味到:农村中学英语课堂教学改革势在必行。我校虽地处县城,但学生基础仍属薄弱,在英语学习方面没有一个好的语言氛围。一节课要取得成功,我有如下几点认识:首先,课前准备一定要充分,在教学设计中,要认真研究课标,分析教材,通过传授与学生生活密切联
