(2).The students can make some dialogues about buying things. (3).The students listen to the tape and they can do some listening exercises.2. Ability objects (1) To develop the Students abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.(2) To enable the Students to study in groups and co-operate skillfully.(3)To develop the Students abilities of communication by learning the useful structures.3. Moral objects (1) To enable the Students to love life. (2) To enable the Students to show their loves to the children in poor areas. Teaching difficult:(1) How to make dialogues and act them out. (2) How to write the right whole letter. Teaching methods:1. Communicative teaching method 2. Audio-visual teaching method 3 . Task-based” teaching methodTeaching objects:Multi-media computer, Tape recorder, some objects, ( shoes, a jacket, trousers and so on.), 7AbooksTeaching steps:Step 1.GreetingsT: What do you often do at weekends ?S: I often go shopping .T: Do you often go shopping at the weekend? If you go shopping ,what can you say ?Some sentences about shopping :Step 2. PresentationTake out a pair of shoes , Then say:“ What are they? Are they beautiful ? What size are they ? Can you guess? Who wants to try them on? At the same time, write the language points on the blackboard . Notes: What size are they ? Try on Fit wellAsk the students to read and tell them how to use them .Step 3. Speak up1. Simons mother wants to buy Simon a pair of football boots . What do they say? Please listen to the tape and answer the questions.a: What would Simon like to buy ?b: What size are Simons feet ?c: How much do the shoes cost ?d: Do they buy the shoes?2. Let the students read the dialogue.(two groups)3.I still have many goods here . Such as a jacket, a skirt, a pair of jeans. They are cheap and beautiful , I think you must want to buy them . Work in pairs, then some groups come to the front to act out their own dialogues.Step 4. ListeningSimons mother often buy things for him . Who often buys things for you ? Do you often buy things for yourselves with your pocket Money ? Millie and her friends also have some pocket money .How do they use it ? Please listen to the tape and do the exercises in P84 A spending your pocket money . Then ask some students to give answers. Check the answers together .Step 5. ListeningMillie and her friends have some pocket money .But some children in poor areas in China , they are living a hard life . They dont have big and bright classrooms. They dont have pocket money. Do they often buy things ?(Let the students look at some pictures . There are some pictures about poor children.).Then let the students listen to the tape.” Then do Exercise B1. Check the answers together.Step 6. DiscussionAsking some questions :“When you see the children in poor areas . Do you feel happy now ? What can we do for them ? How to help the poor children ?”let them have a discussion .Then ask some students to say their ideas about how to help poor children .Step 7. WritingThe teacher says: “Millie and Simon saw an Ad in the newspaper . They want to help the children in poor areas in china ”.Let the students read the Ad and fill in the blanks .At the same time , write down the language points . Notes: send sb. sth. =send sth. to sb. send him some cards. donate sth to sb raise sth. for sb. Teach the students how to read and use the phrases . Then check the answers together .Step 8.
