In this case flat check nut is not required.For Fixing with lock nut: Wherever a blank hole is provided in the housing of the equipment, insert the nipple portion of the gland through this hole and fix it tightly by means of flat lock nut. Now pass the compression nut and the ring in succession ovre cable before commencing to terminate the cable. Then push the cable through the gland and tightly secure the compression nut.
