With more than sixty machines installed worldwide, the Alto Adige-based manufacturer of digital printing systems for the ceramic sector and a world leader in printing systems for the graphic arts presented its two new models Gamma 61 and 71. These three-color digital printing systems are ideal for application on mass-produced ceramic articles. Another innovation presented at the exhibition was the Structure Match optional function which is capable of recognizing the tiles structure and adapting the tile accordingly. This function can be integrated with pre-installed system. 2. 刘小娟Euro Ceramic (India) Expands in Sanitaryware SectorThe first part of the ceramic sanitaryware production plant owned by Italian firm Euro Ceramics with a capacity of 250,000 pieces/year is at an advanced stage of installation. When the new STK 300 tunnel kiln (length 102 meters) is ready (currently also at the advanced stage), the total production capacity of the facility will reach 750,000 pieces/year.The plant is entirely supplied by Sacmi and is equipped with battery casting benches and a robotic glazing carousel capable of delivering an extremely high quality output and very high productivity. Euro Ceramics is headquartered in Mumbai and is part of the industrial giant Euro, which has activities in various economic sectors. It has been operating in the Indian ceramic sector for just five years and produces floor and wall tiles, kitchens and sanitaryware with great attention to quality and the international standards in the sector. Euro Ceramics has all its production units located in the Gujarat region and has also installed other Sacmi technology. In addition to the sanitaryware production factory, Sacmi machinery has been installed on ceramic and porcelain tile production lines. 3. 汤紫媚Porcellan Starts up ProductionPorcellan, the United Arab Emirates based ceramic company founded in 2001 by the large industrial group Jamal Al Ghurair, recently started up an enormous facility near Abu Dhabi.With a production capacity of 18 million square meters a year, Porcellan will soon be one of the largest porcelain tile production centers in the world of the Gulf region. The first collections produced consist of large-format glazed or soluble salt decorated porcelain tiles, as well as through-bodied porcelain tiles produced using Croma technology, all of which primarily reproduce natural materials. The available sizes ranges from 40 x 40 cm to 120 x 120 cm. Porcellan already has a global distribution network and has also presented its 2009 catalogue featuring around 20 floor and wall tile collections with sophisticated style and design.4. 严海玲Prime Group And The Largest Body Preparation Center In AsiaA partnership between Manfredini & Schianchi and Prime Group, fifth largest tile producer in the world, will give rise to the largest dry ceramic raw materials preparation center anywhere in Asia. The plant will fully exploit M&S Dry-Tech technology. Primary grinding will be performed by two Pig Maxy/Dryer hammer mills which will supply three Molomax 4/230-AIR pendular mills, assuring a production of more than 100 t/h of extremely high quality ceramic body. Agglomeration of the body will be performed by four Forgia MS38-AL granulators. The facilitys production will supply three tile production plants owned by the Prime Group in Vietnam. In addition to the complete turnkey plant supply by M&S, all the Prime Group facilities will be equipped with M&S rotary screens (patented technology) which will guarantee ideal homogenization and perfect loading of the material at the press. Here too the composition of the ceramic body is the result of the research carried out by the M&S technological laboratory.Final production will be 80,000 sq.m/day of extremely high quality single fired tiles in sizes up to 600 x 600 mm.
