Period I 教材:人民教育出版社2014版 年级:七年级授课人:周美娟 时间:2017年11月22日一、教材分析 本单元的话题涉及学生上学的交通方式,与上一单元关于上学时间的话题紧密相连。SectionA 部分展现了学生以不同的交通方式上学的场景,自然而然地将学生带入到有关彼此上学方式、出行花费的时间以及家与学校的之间的距离等问题的讨论中。本单元的第一课时则是通过1a,1b 和1c三个主要内容的学习,来引出本单元的语言和知识目标,学习了常见的交通方式的表达,并让学生初步感知和学习“How do you get to school?” “I walk.” How does she get to school?She takes the subway. 这样的句型,为进一步深入学习由“How long” 和“How far?”引导的句型作好铺垫。 二、学生情况分析: 对于七年级的学生来说,他们在经过七年级上个学期的英语学习后,已具有了一定的英语基础知识,同时也具备一些运用语言知识的能力。在这样的基础上,学生对于讨论跟他们生活息息相关的内容,会很容易产生兴趣。但同时初中学生的抽象思维能力较低,形象思维能力强,但注意力容易分散。本课以任务型教学为主,采用多种形式展示,并配以丰富形象的动感图片,视频,从而增强学生的兴趣和注意力。III. Teaching Aims: By the end of the class, students will : 1. language points: 1) grasp some new words: train, bus, subway, ship, boat, take, ride, bike, walk, 2) learn some sentence patterns: How do you get to school? I get to school by bus. How does Mary get to school? She takes the subway. 2. Learn to talk about how to get to places take the bus /subway /train /taxi , ride a bike /walk .3. Learn one special question of “how” and two different ways to answer.2. Emotional goals:(1) students will get to know how students in different countries get to school (2) Help students to know the heavy traffic today and encourage them to choose the public transportation and travel in green waysIV. Teaching Key Points and Difficult Points1. Key Point:1) How do you get to school?/ How does she get to school? 2)Two different ways of expressions to talk about how to get to some place .2. Teaching ProcessStep One Warming-up and Lead in(1)Greeting(2) Ask students to watch a video and answer the question:”How does he get to school?” Lead in the topic and arouse their interests,Step Two A guessing game (new words)1. Listen to sound of the transportation and guess what kind of transportation it is.(每一幅都是动态图片,声音比较清晰,容易识别,能激发学生的学习兴趣)2. Read the sentence and guess what kind of transportation it is.3. Show the new words, ask students to read them and teach them if needed.Step Three Presentation and practice1. Show some pictures about transportations and talk about how my daughter and I get to school.(通过图片导入词组,同时引导学生正确操练句型,) How do you get to school?Ss: I take the bus /plane/ boat / ship / car -2. How do you get to school?-Step Four Listening Comprehension1. Read the names in the box.2. Play the tape and check the answers in 1b.3. Ask students to listen again and fill in the blanks. (Before they listen, ask students to pay attention to some listening skills: predicting, key words or key letters)Step Five Have a chant (通过学生反复吟诵,将两种交通表达方式进行对比,更容易接受,也更便于记忆)Step Six Groupwork Ask students to make a survey: Whats your favorite way of travelling?
