How tall are you 教学设计一、教学内容分析:本课的中心话题是询问身边的人或事物的身高、重量并做比较,同时进行形容词比较级和最高级的渗透。二、教学目标与要求:1、能够听、说、读、写形容词的比较级、最高级形式: tall taller tallest strong stronger strongest heavy heavier heaviest2、能够听、说、认读句型:How tall are you? Im.cm tall. How heavy are you? Im kilograms.并能运用句型来描述自己的身高、体重、。3、能用这些句型对年龄和身高进行比较。Im the tallest. Im stronger than you. 三、教学难点分析:1、重点:能够听、说、读、写形容词的比较级形式并会在实际情景中运用。2、难点:能够用长度或重量单位对人、物、及动物进行描述。四、教学过程:Step 1. Warm upT: Hello, everyone. Im your new teacher this lesson. So I dont know you very well. But I want to make friends with you. I want to know something about you. Can you answer my questions?PPT: Whats your name?How old are you?Whats your hobby? The dog, deer,zebra and giraffe want to try.Who will be the goalkeeper? Why?让学生试着用形容词的原级、比较级和最高级去陈述理由。【设计意图】通过让学生来猜测故事的结果,充分调动学生参与的兴趣,并为下面的教学作铺垫。Step 5. The hippo.Why?Because he is heavy and he is almost bigger than the gate.Learning tips: 阅读短文时,如果遇到生词,可以通过上下文或图片来帮助自己理解单词的意思。【设计意图】让学生整体感知课文,并通过learning tips提示学生注意阅读的方法。Step 6.
