His bike was stolen.关系代词which / whom有关注意点：请看下面两组句子：This is the book (which / that ) you want.(作动词want的宾语)Suzhou is the city (which / that ) Im going to pay a visit to.（作介词to的宾语）Suzhou is the city to which Im going to pay a visit.（介词提前，只能接which）The women (who / whom / that) I met in the bookstore is my aunt. (作动词met的宾语)The woman (who / whom / that ) you were talking to just now is my aunt. (作介词to的宾语）The woman to whom you were talking just now is my aunt. （介词提前，只能接whom）说明：关系代词作定语从句里介词的宾语时，此介词可放置于句中原来位置，这时关系代词可用who, that, whom / which, that, 大多数情况下也可前移至关系代词前面，这时候只能用whom / which. 即介词+which / whom;但并不是所有的介词都可移至前面，如果是一些不可拆开的动词短语，如look for, look after等，介词只能放于原位。关系代词which与that:定语从句分为限制性定语从句及非限制性定语从句。非限制性定语从句是对前面所修饰的先行词或内容起补充说明作用，先行词后有逗号隔开，在非限制性定语从句里，不用that作关系代词，所以如果在定语从句里充当主语或宾语, 且先行词为物的话，只用which;请看下面的限制性、非限制性定语从句：I have lost my pen, which I like very much.我把我的钢笔丟了，这支钢笔我很喜欢。（补充说明对这支钢笔很喜欢）I have lost the pen (which / that ) I like very much.我把我很喜欢的那支钢笔丟了。（强调丢的是我喜欢的那支）请看下面的非限制性定语从句：My brother , who is a teacher, can speak English very well.Mr. Smith, whose wife teaches us chemistry, is our head teacher.He passed the exam, which surprised us all.that指物时，一般都可以和which互换使用。但在下列情况下，不能混用，只用that:1 当先行词是不定代词，如all, anything, everything, nothing, something, the one, little, few, much或先行词被all, every, any, no, few, little, the very, just the, the only等修饰时;I have never taken anything that is hers.I have told him all that I know.He gave her everything that he had.She has something that you can borrow.There is not much that can be done.I have read all the books that you lent me.You can take any book that you like.Every dictionary that our library bought is good.This is the very book that I want to find.The flower is the only one that I like.2.先行词被序数词或形容词最高级修饰时；This is the best book that I have ever read.The second place that I want to visit is Beijing.3.当先行词既有人又有物时；They talked of things and persons that they remembered.5. 当主句里已有who / which等疑问词时，为避免重复；Whos the man that is talking to your father over there?Which of the paintings that are being on show was painted by his brother?6. 当先行词/关系代词在定语从句里充当表语时，则无论此先行词为人或物，关系代词只用that;He is no longer the little boy that he used to be / was ten years ago.当先行词为人时，下列句型中关系代词只用who而不用that:( 当先行词是anyone, those, one, ones， he并且指人时)Those who want to go please put up your hands.Anyone who wants to go please put up your hand.He who doesnt reach the Great Wall is not a true man.不用that的情况：（1） 在非限制性定语从句里： He came home quite early, which surprised us all.
